[Glamour Mag] 02/2006 Meeting Olympians including MK (pics on #39 & #41; scan on #72)

I just got my February Glamour in the mail and there in the table of contents is a pic of michelle with the blurb "meet Michelle Kwan and 10 more Olympic stars."

On page 185 is a full page pic of MK in a white Vera Wang dress. I can't scan in the pic (cause my scanner is busted) but here is what it says.

I see Keanu about once a month. I have never (nor would I ever) bother him. But BUT BUT!!! Now I really REALLY want to give him a hug and tell him that he "rachs" for appreciating Michelle. I won't, of course. I'll just appreciate him more in the future and from afar.

michelle2006: We frequent the same "place." One of my best friends is in love with him also and, wouldn't you know it, she has never seen him when she has come with me. He is very low-key. Very respectful. And I try to be the same. In fact, I notice that nobody ever bothers him, which I think is as it should be. I am very much married so I suppose it's easier for me to keep my distance!!!

LouAphn....the pics were taken exclusively for Glamour. In the article the dress is a sleevless v-neck. Its fitted all the way down the body and there is rouching all the way down. Then the bottom has a little flounce at the bottom. Its hard to describe. I wish I could scan it in for everyone. Sorry

The article was early last year. If I remember correctly she even picked him up with her corvette. She also met Jennifer Garner and she (JG) gasped in delight when they met. I tried looking for the article but none of the links work. I tried using the wayback machine but failed. Anyway, the title was Embracing the Glitter, Chasing the Gold.

Back on topic, thanks for the heads-up. I'm definitely going to grab a copy of the Glamour mag.

ETA: I found a cached of the article. She also met Renee Zellweger in the ladies room, Lol!

I just wanted to add in for those of you wanting to go out and get a copy of the magazine, that it's probably not out on the newsstands yet. I have a subscription so I usually get it before it comes out. But its the issue with Mandy Moore on the cover (Feb 2006)

I'm not sure when the magazine will come out, but it should be in the next couple of weeks I would think

I was too excited about Michelle to read about any of the other athletes when I first posted, but I just went back and read and I want to add this....Emily cook is on the page facing Michelle Kwan, she was slated to compete in SLC but 2-weeks before the games she shattered almost all the bones in her left foot during a practice, a potentially career ending injury. It took her 2 1/2 years of rehab before she could get back into skis and now she's a top prospect for Olympic Gold. If she can come back from that to be a gold medal favorite, then certainly the most decorated US skater can beat a little groin injury.

I"ll be rooting for both Emily and Michelle come February.
