Hi. I've never posted here,but i've read you guys since the beginning. I've finally deceided to express my love for Michelle with you guys. I think you guys are so funny! I hope we will get to know each other better soon.

can somebody explain the whole chicken sacrificing to me?

Aha, njcmingling, last year after the '98 Worlds, a poster posted a negative message accusing us be blind because we "all worthip at the shrine of the Kwan". We played along. I said yeah, we didn't sacrifice enough at the Worlds, see what happened. Mano said she messed up by using KFC instead of live chicken for the sacrifice and that resulted in the bad result. This year, I, ahem...the elected high priestest, did the sacrifice ritual right. The result was far more satisfactory.

We also have the Kwan Kit package for purchase. It includes a lucky habbit. It used to be a Lyra Angelica blue one. I officially changed it to a gold/orange one with a big printed Buddha on the front and back. The Kwan Kit also has a gold charm, just like Michelle's. The whole Kit is sold for $29.99, I believe.

There are many ways of explaining chicken/tofu sacrifice. I will give you the non fan fiction version. As die hard MK fans we should be willing to sacrifice ourselves (being dramatic here) to the skating gods, ( no that is not really my true belief that there are skating gods) so that MK will have a win. Of course, we use chicken, or for the veggies tofu as substitute.

Die hard Paul Kariya fans who are also MK fans are willing to sacrifice themselves to the love gods to make that happen. Of course I am a rebel among the fan fictioner, I will only sacrifice myself for Tiger and MK.
Unfortunately, tiger already has a gf. So I am willing to sacrifice chicken for the match of PK (#9, left wing of the mighty duck) and 6.0 ( our beloved ice goddess) .

#9 = Pk
6.0 = our Michelle
#8 = Teemu, R. wing of the ducks, PKs best friend
3 X 4 = Tim
008 = tiger woods, in my fan fiction he will be the future god father of MK's children.

thanks yingshan and skatingfan for explaining the chicken/tofu ritual to me. i'll try to remember to eat chicken before mk's next competition or when she's in Anaheim (on COI or a MD game). i read the 008 story... you can read my very short post in the other thread.

Got us mixed up. I explained that YOU didn't couldn't find any LIVE chickens to sacrifice so YOU got KFC instead (you being the high priestess and all, I'm just a witness) then Worlds '99 happened.

BTW, Welcome MKSfan and njcmingling. Always a pleasure to meet new forumites!!!

Aren't you my assistant? How can a high priestest prepare live chickens herself? It's very undiginified.
