She spent two hours signing autographs and posing for pictures at the local Shoprite as a reward to the store, which for the second year in a row had collected the most donations for and raised the most awareness about hunger as part of ShopRite's Partners in Caring campaign.

for me it wasn't a registration page.... just a quick survey of zip code, birthdate and gender ... they prob want to see who their readerships are.

as for things on 2nd page ... the quote from her made me ... *sigh* that stupid injury ... and it just shows how much courage it takes for one to make the decision she made ... i hope she gets better soon, both physically and emotionally ... we love you, Michelle!!!

How the heck did I not know about this?! Darn it! I know one of the little girls (who's not so little any more) quoted in the article...her father was the conductor of an orchestra I was in in college (and gave us off the night of the ladies final in SLC...said he had a conference, but I suspect otherwise, as he is a huge Kwan fan as well ). I gave her one of my pics of from Nats '02, and she loved it. I am so glad she was finally able to meet Michelle.

Katsk8, where are you and did you spot that as well?

Michelle will heal, both physically and emotionally. I just wish she didn't have either kind of wound.

I wish I would have known Michelle was visiting the Garden State, too; I would have made the drive to Flemington! Could have said hi to The Kween, hit the Flemington outlets and even picked up a few groceries at ShopRite!

How great that Michelle is supporting this cause!

I wrote a letter to the writer of the article and thanked her and ask if there was any photos as we had seen far too little of Michelle this season.

I love the quote from Michelle saying that she loves being a roll model because she has two neices and she doesn't want them wearing short skirts, very cute.

great find, TwinnerA! i completely missed the galary until you pointed out. all these pictures in that gallery look great, not only Michelle, but all these other cute kids in those photos too. Michelle, like always, is well dressed for the occassion!!!

TwinnerA - Thanks for finding that gallery that I overlooked. Much appreciated. BTW... I tried contacting the Courier-News webmaster, but he was not in... so I called their newsdesk and informed them of their major error in fact (her last name being mispelled). Let's see how fast they can correct it.

WOW! Not even 5 minutes... it is now spelled correctly! LOL

You know, after viewing these great pictures of Michelle greeting more of her fans, it really hit me how many of us older fans feel about her. She is perceived to be the daughter all of us would love to have. America's Daughter!

Another NJ fan sad she didn't know about this. Aren't stores supposed to promote when a celeb is going to be there?? Maybe I could convince my local ShopRite to have her here too

Oh my goodness, why didn't we know about this? Sigh.. she looks fabulous as always. Thank you so much Twinner for finding the photo gallery! Her highlights are much more apparent in these photos than other photos I have seen of her. Makes me want to go out and get some on this unruly ugly hair
