Michelle to be on The View 4/13
I don't see this posted anywhere, but if so, please delete.
I was looking on The View website and see that on April 13th they will have "Actress Geena Davis; author Tyler Perry; figure skater Michelle Kwan." So everyone set their recorders, DVRs, TIVOs, etc!  MichelynB

Really! Wow, I really don't like that show, but I'll tape it if she's on! I'm sure she'll be promoting the COI more than talking about her future plans (which she already has in recent articles). It's not going to be as indepth as if she was on Oprah.

Well unfortunately I will be at work, but thanks in advance to whomever will post a clip of the show online here.
Speaking of the View, I am sad Meredith Viera is leaving; I wish Star Jones would have left ever since her surgery and her wedding inflated her ego. The woman used to be an intelligent, charismatic ex-lawyer when the show started (I remember b/c it was near the end of a high school summer vacation, I think July/Aug. 1997), but now she's a vapid, endlessly self-promoting rhymes-with-witch. Plus Joy Behar, though not exactly a tactful, down-to-earth public figure like Meredith herself, had a reason to vent her annoyance at Star who called in that day after her boob job. Speaking of boob-headed (don't mean to sound sexist), Star and Joy are a couple of boobs, as in idiots, but then again so am I for being fascinated with this show.

Exciting! Thanks for posting! I'm not a View fan... but anything with MK in will be worth watching!!
Oooooh, i wonder if I could get tix to the show that day - i'll go to anything that MK is at!! I bet the tix get given out way in advance though. Hmmmm.. I wonder how this is going to work... I know that The View tapes here in NYC... but the COI tour is supposed to be in Hampton, VA that day. Though it is an evening show so I guess she could fly to NYC from the Marshalls event... and then immediately after taping The View, drive/fly to VA.

I hate The View. Of course, it's great that we'll see Michelle, but ugh. I can't stnad *any* of the women (and dread thinking Viera might replace Couric), and the show itself. I wish Michelle would just do GMA (to keep the same network here). I loved the interview with Robin Roberts from '03, and Charlie Gibson & Diane Sawyer would do a great interview, too (well, Diane would be her normal sappy, lispy self, but I don't dislike her as much as The View!).

I'll just have to programmed it since I don't watch the show. A bunch of talkative women going on and on about nothing bores me to tears so I never watch it, but I'll set my vcr for Michelle. Oprah bores me too but I'll also watch if Michelle ever is on her show.

Even if you can't get to New York to see the show, you can write to the stars of the show to let them know how glad you are that Michelle is going to appear on it in spite of her heavy schedule demands during this time.
I remember one time when she appeared on The View, Star Jones said that they had never received so many emails for any other guest. Let's see if we can top our previous record. Click on the link, then select the name(s) of the stars you wish to contact and type your message in the window that opens. Write Early - Write Often.
