Default One More Year?

Hi all, I haven't been in the loop for a while but I did see that Michelle is going to school this fall. (in my state,,I think I"m moving LOL)

So...did anyone else notice that MK did the BEST Charlotte Spiral ever in her whole career?
She always did it well and was effecting in the places she put them in the music. But in this years skate her leg was absolutely straight up and down.

Michelle not only can skate, she is improving!!!!!!

Ok//so my point is, ONE more figure skating year. You can finish school AFTER Vancoover.

You know, I remember when m kids were in school and if they received the same grade each semester, it was almost like their grades went up, because they were learning new things. When the grade went up, that showed how much more the child accomplished.

Michelle is skating so well, and better, if that possibly be so.

She's only human, and humans can do extraordinary things.

Michelle, please...1 more year! Stay tuned for the video of my granddaughters asking MK to skate for One more year (they say she is the BEST skater in the World) and want to see her skate in a competition, one more time.

Susan

this horse is dead, & now we're eating it...

anyway, i noticed that her charlotte was perfection, but it isn't the 1st time she hit a 90< split in that move. Michelle's skating isn't very static (a la Sasha) & the extension seems more organic & for effect for her than a show of flexibility.

Michelle's not coming back to competitive skating. & if she does, we'll ALL be pleasantly surprised. if she goes out quietly, not retiring so much as [moving on], the dream is never truly dead for her (& for some of us maybe). she said herself in an interview years ago, she's going to be 80 & still insisting she can land a triple lutz - that doesn't mean she'd actually land one, or compete ;-)~

Hi mr pru. You probably remember me from when I used to send bears to MKF gatherings to throw on the ice for Michelle. Loved your post. Someone used to have an animated picture emoticon they would put on their posts. It took me a while to figure it out but it was a dead horse being beaten (you can't beat that with a stick--lol). I empathize with how Suzi feels but agree with a lof of MKFans that we just want what is best for her and that we trust her to do just that. Jack

..hey jack !..

...of course i remember you....your gifts made the luncheon get togethers

before competitions even better.....everyone in attendance would be on the

edge of their seats hoping their name would be drawn from the hat

for a gift....really made it special...

....i too, understand her feelings......however, the fact of the matter

is michelle is not going to skate competitively......we simply must

accept that and move forward....as miss kwan has..

.....take care jack...may God bless you and your entire family....

........feel free to stay in touch...

I found a Twitter account for "MichelleWKwan." The link for the website is to this forum. Is it for real? There are only 67 tweets and is easy to follow.

Some of what she says, if it really is MK, seems like it but you never know.

The "MichelleWKwan" Twitter is a fake. This has been confirmed by her agent, Shep Goldberg.

Just don't see Michelle as the celebrity tweeting type.

Many of you have already mourned the "loss" of MK's come back for 2010. I just found out, and I STILL believe she will change her mind and jump on the Olympic bandwagon.

Also, I didn't think that twitter account really was Michelle's. It didn't "sound" like her, and has spelling and grammar mistakes that Michelle wouldn't make.

The Charlotte Spiral - I have watched every competition of Michelle's ..over and over and over, and I have never seen her leg at the 190 degree angle that I saw it in the two programs she did in South Korea. I'm not saying that before this year she did it wrong. I don't think any of us have seen the Charlotte spiral done by the woman who first did it and for whom it is named after. Plus Dickie and Peggy have mentioned that it is a variation of the CS.

One more year!

Actually, it is too late for MK to change her mind. In order for her to quality for U.S. Nationals, she has to compete in regionals and sectionals.

Btw, watch MK's Charlotte spiral in this Fields of Gold performance:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=AzwPtPmdSOY

I know that she didn't hit a complete 180 but pretty darn close.
