Dave, Michelle said on the video that she purchased the skates. So the seller did not purchase them.

And as an added bonus, I will also print the photographs that you see on this listing in addition to making a DVD for the winner of the two segments Michelle Kwan appeared in on the show when she signed the skates.

Dave, in the video of the tv show, Michelle said she bought the boots that she is autographing.

I saw the link to the Tara boots, you mean those were really her boots that she wore in Nagano?

The boots are Harlicks custom made for Tara's feet. I don't think she skated in them because they look brand new. She donated them to the World Figure Skating Museum auction. I bid $800 and won. The reason I had to get the real mccoys is because I bought a cheesy skate with her autograph on EBay and my sister ragged on me saying it was like Jordan signing a reebok and not a nike. I thought about it and agreed she had a point. When this auction was announced in Blades On Ice, I called Houston and put in a bid over the phone and won.
