Fan Fiction: Boyfriends XXXII (Warning: Long Load)
First off I would like to ask that since the BFFF threads always have lots of pictures in them, that if you have a personal pic or banner in your signature to please refrain from posting it more than once in a thread so that it doesn't take the thread as long to load. Thanks a lot!

BFFFers' Ten Commandments by Yingshan
10. You shall not put forth any KFC around MK's temple where we worship.
9. You shall put the success of our production above your personal gain (no whining about pay)
8. You shall do everything to further our causes, e.g. sending PK a MK's book, hinting of MK when you can talk to PK, no matter whether it makes you a laughingstock.
7. You shall not nominate any guys for MK lightly (You shall do a detailed background check before mentioning it here). Our girl deserves the best.
6. You shall not be vulgar in any creative writing or picture splicing.
5. You shall not throw yourself at any guy who we consider a good match for MK no matter how attractive you find him to be or how close you get to him. This is a non-competitive clause.
4. You shall not mention any BFFF outside of this thread, especially not in any PK Forum.
3. You shall have a sense of humor.
2. You shall not mistake any writings here as "news".
1. You shall bow to the high pristess's wisdom at all time! (Should be optional if you ask me)

Introductions and Disclaimers
Any bold has been done so by me and any [italics] in brackets has been added by me, not the original authors.
Skatingfan
For first time visitors WELCOME. This is 100% fan fiction. Fan fictioners agree to start a new chapter whenever the thread grows to 80 messages long. We also agree to never discuss this fan fiction material outside of Fan Fiction Land, i.e. we do not post any of this in rssif, FSW, or other threads in this MK forum etc. [Or the PK Forum] Fan fictioners are in the process of producing a play on MK and PK - Paul Kariya the captain of Mighty Ducks. The genius writer is Mano, contributing writers are Kooky, Yingshan (who is also the set designer), Wonder, A-Chan, and Littlepebbles. Chemy is the photographer. Magenta is the ultimate matchmaker, and the rest are managers of this co. I come here just to chill out. Sometimes we refer to MK as 6.0 b/c of the unprecedented # of perfect 6.0s she earned, and PK as #9, he wears #9.
Yingshan
To New Comers: Welcome to our fantasyland! The purpose of this place is for us to have some fun with our favorite skater: Michelle Kwan. We weave fictional accounts and speculations into very skimpy facts. So you'll be in serious trouble if you take what we say here seriously. And everything we say here are for your and our eyes only. None of this should be repeated elsewhere on the USNET, e.g. RSSIF, FSW.... [Or the PK Forum!!!!!]
We're creating a romance novel/movie script. It's temporarily named "Ice to Ice" (I like "Icy Affairs" better). The leads are Michelle Kwan ("6.0") and Mighty Ducks captain Paul Kariya (#9). No, we don't know whether there's anything going on between them. We pick them to write because we think they make a perfect couple. [And not only because they're both Asian, or Asian and 1/2 Asian!] The main screen writer is Mano. I'm the producer/editor. My partner in production is Magenta. Chemy is our photographer. Wonder is my co-editor. Skatingfan is our sound whiz. Blizzard is our art director. Kooky and annabelle are on our contributing writing team. Littlepebbles is our director.
Welcome to stay and watch our creative process. But please obey our confidentiality rule. We don't want our brilliant ideas being pirated.
One More Criteria.....
for anyone who wants to read here:
YOU NEED A SENSE OF HUMOR!

Not that PK fans aren't welcome, they are as long as they don't show up trolling, send threatening e-mails, or go running back to the PK forum bashing us and Michelle. Cause unfortunately all that stuff has happened. Hope everyone enjoys our antics but watch out for Yingshan, she bites sometimes!

Guess I'll start the first post
LP is on top of things here, hey! I guess LP's been selected to be the coordinator.
Skatingfan/Mano: MK brought up the Ruby earings 1st. I only mentioned the B-day gift.
Barang: I will try to meet you at HealthSouth if you can come during MK's evening practice on the following days: Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. Just give me advance notice and exact date.
BTW, love the thank you speeches. When was that posted. Also love the Ice Age Cometh. Mano, you should read (provided you can find time) Daughter of the Empire, Servant of the Empire, and Mistress of the Empire. They may give you lots of inspiration for future sequels.

LP, I am off topic
I did not know that you post or used to post at cbs sportsline. I was just lurking there, and
an old thread about "who got your interested in f.s." is resurrected, and I saw one of your
message from 1998.
BTW, there is a new thread there call, " MK raised the technical bar", the person who
started that thread said Mk is working on a new 3/3, of course did not say what 3/3,
or the % of success of landing the new 3/3. I oh so wish some REAL Kwanophiles live
close enough by Healthsouth, and be able to go there daily to watch her practice.
Acoma, PLEASE go as often as possible. I am still having severe MK withdraw.
BTW, Acoma when will we read your first story here? Hint, hint.
Gals/guys don't forget Tiger v Sergio tonight at ABC.

Thanks Acoma...
I'll do that once I'm done with the project I have from work. Then hopefully my schedule will be back to normal and I can take time to read those books. I think the last time I wrote anything for Ice Age was January or February and that's pathetic of me. Good thing Yingshan hasn't been around much else I'd be voted off this particular island. (Ha, got to use that catch phrase and I never even saw a drop of Survivor).
Time for my weekly dose of Things that make you go hmmnnnn...

I read on a Maine U hockey message board that they saw on the news Paul, Kurt Russell, and Paul's college coach Shawn Walsh playing golf. Walsh is in LA receiving cancer treatment and I heard he is staying at Kurt Russell and Goldie's house since Kurt is a big Maine U hockey fan...
***
If the above is true, I hope and pray that his coach's cancer will go in remission. Which reminds me, I haven't checked out how Shallah's dad is doing 'cause I know his cancer is in remission too, I better find that thread.
Also...you folks remember that the last time Michelle watched a Hockey game (Sept '99, pre-season game with the Ducks vs Kings at the old Forum, Pk didn't play, but he was there), it was printed on LA Times that along with Michelle, other celebrities watching were Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn...'nuff said.
Okay, not 'nuff said, just got another project so apparently I will be quite busy, which means I may not be online for a while. I may check my email from time to time, but otherwise consider me MIA. All apologies folks. Hold the fort while I'm gone. A river there, gee.

Wylie on ssteroids?

Sheesh, I stink at being MIA...
no matter how bad the situation is, I have to have a dose of MKF and BFFF. Hadas, go ahead and write a story. Just follow Yingshan's commandments to keep her happy.
Skatingfan, LOL, Wylie on Steroids is Stu Grimson, AKA the Grim Reaper. Ironic isn't it? He's with the LA Kings now...to make sure his new teammates don't hit on Michelle.
LP, hope you're doing alright. Any news on the car? Apologies for the other day, my server disconnected on me and I couldn't get back on. I got back online at 6:30, but disabled ICQ 'cause I had to do my work. I didn't go into ICQ at all yesterday night.

fellow beefers, where are you
Most of you are MIA. I think a Hadas story will bring us back, go Hadas.
Are you guys/gals ready for the weekend.
Something nice happens today, I received something from MK.
Remember in the early summer of 99, someone MK Dragon? posted a link
of a publishing house in HK. If we visit the website, we can request some
greeting cards free, one of the card is a 16 y/o MK in her first DOD costume
doing a spiral, her card is a happy N.Y. card .
So I requested that, and it took a good 2 months for that to arrive.
Christmas 99 when I sent a package to MK, I enclosed this card with
a return addressed envelop asking her to autograph the card for me.
I finally got it in the mail today. She wrote to my name love Michelle Kwan
with the usual heart shape thing over the i. Mano I kept looking at the
signature, it looks like Kwan, not Kariya, and no Paul.
I so appreciate MK taking time for her fans. I think we ought to have 2
special projects for her each year, the Diane CMN bday project in July, and a
special Christmas project e.g. donation to usfsa memorial fund in honor of
Michelle. What do you think. This is way off topic for beefer land, but
I prefer to share this here among beefers.

I think I'm using...
my work as a crutch of sorts because that means I don't have to write stories...which is weird 'cause I'm miserable if I don't write any...but sometimes I feel like I'm in a rut and am afraid to even attempt starting another story or finishing up old ones.
BTW, skatingfan, congrats on your Michelle autograph. You didn't sign it as "skatingfan" did you? Which reminds me, I still have to write a thank you card to her...should I send it to Lake Arrowhead or El Segundo (if I ever get around to writing it, that is). The CMN thing, I think Diane sent that to the Michigan one.
Oh, and skatingfan, why does your sentences skip spaces in your post? It gets a bit hard to read. Oh and I learned a lot in your Psychology lesson at FSW. THAT was good. You go girl!!! Oh, and do you want to be emailed or ICQed by any of us? Just wondering...

I looked again, still is Kwan, not Kariya :lol
She wrote my real name, not skatingfan
Mano, please write a story. You are the one who writes those
romantic stuff, you know the feeling kind of stories.
My message looks weird, I know, but I have no way of
explaining.
I am still so computer iliterate, I have never chat real time
before.
High Priestess, where are you, your old buddy posted at
cbs sportslineand said that you are mean to him
.
(for real)
Lake Arrowhead or El Segundo address? Mano, if you
want to be absolutely sure write to both. I sent duplicate
cds for her bday this year to both address. But then
just look at my custom title, I am an obsessor of
Korngold violin concerto for our angel.

Well that's better...
I'm wondering if when you type your message, do you press "enter" or do you just let it flow (as in type continuously without worrying about pressing enter)? The EZBoard thing sort of formats it for you so that you don't have to press enter unless you want to have a space between paragraphs or something. What you just typed looks good though.
BTW, everybody was computer illiterate at one point or another so don't worry. All a matter of trial and error (mostly error on my part). If it makes you happy any, PK said he doesn't even have a computer in his house so you're one up on him.
As for the chatting, best to download ICQ at www.icq.com/download/. They have instructions there on what to do. Tell us when you get it either by posting your ICQ number here or something. Or I can post mine if you wish.
As for the stories, I'll do my best. I'm done with the O/T and projects at work so maybe I'll have more time (Yippee!!!). I still have to devote my weekends to painting the house in NJ and moving there eventually. But I will make time for BFFF and MKF. Speaking of which...isn't Chemy due for a pic or something? She's had MK at the Cell premiere pic as well as all those PK pics from Kariya's Korner to experiment with...

Another MK pic in the mail
Just checked my mail box, got a 8 X 10 color photo of MK in her Mulan
soldier uniform with Candeloro, and Weiss. LOL Candeloro is fully clothed
and Weiss is 1/4 naked. She just signed her name with the little heart.
She did not put my name on it. For a split second I thought since my
name is not on it, maybe I can send it to you know who. But nah..,
no way, I love our angel's smiles, besides you know who may be too
jealous of Phillippe and Michael. The postage is from MI, sheps
office. So, I take back my bad mouthing of Shep's office I have done
in BFFF.

Skatingfan
Congratulations on getting your pictures. Maybe if you included a picture of Philippe and Michael with their families so there won't be any jealousy.
I did not know that you post or used to post at cbs sportsline. I was just lurking there, and an old thread about "who got your interested in f.s." is resurrected, and I saw one of your message from 1998.
Yeah, I don't go very often anymore. It's too hard for my computer to log in, plus I really don't have much to contribute since most of the conversations there have taken a more "domestic" turn since I first joined in 1998. Plus, I think if the two "pod hunters" get their way, the figure skating board will be no more pretty soon.
High Priestess, where are you, your old buddy posted at cbs sportslineand said that you are mean to him. (for real)
Oh yeah, they have history. LOL Mostly in the archives. You have to be registered and logged in to read them though. Maybe it's theraputic for him to tell the others about things that are posted at MKF. (coughmichellepracticethreadcough)
I don't want to say too much, since I don't know who is reading.

LP
I fall absolutely in love with the MK Mulan soldier picture, hard
to send it to you know who now. "Sniff, our little girl is all
grown up and saving China". Mk looks adorable in it, if I can
get hold of a scanner I will scan it . Maybe Chemy can
do some magic with it. BTW, when I scan it, I
just need to send it to someone with a email? I have magenta's
email.
The other reason I want to keep the pic is someday when I am poor,
I may want to cut out the phillipe pic and auction it in ebay Rare item
Candeloro with clothes on.
I belong to cbs club tiger, but I think even w/o cbs membership
one can still lurk over there. I did that b/c of coughmichellecoughreports.
Nothing boils my blood like someone posting irresponsible rink rumor
about 6.0 and her father or any skaters all over the net, then cough,
sneeze, turned around and said how one should repsect her privacy.
Worse, since there are daily trips made to the ice temple where our
angel practices every thing about our angel, whether she coughs or
sneezes, waves hi to little girls or not is being noticed. Things will
be OK pleasant until someone perceives and read some imaginary
slight into newspaper articles against his idol. All that rink rumor
report was precipitated by C.B. praising 6.0's parents for doing such
a nice job, his idol and or her parents were not even mentioned
in that article.
Anyhoo, Stu where are you, we have a job for you.

No problem Barang
I just moved so you don't have to worry about me going anywhere for along time. Still unpacking... I'd be happy to meet you at HealthSouth when you're able to. This invitation extends to all ya bfffrs.
OH, 1 condition, that you give me advance notice so I can juggle my schedule. You know I've been a fan of MK but only a casual following her, but you bfffrs are turning me into an addict. You think the High Priestess has cast her omnipotent power and turned me into a subject or something....
Skatingfan: I got a feeling you or another bfffers would eventually hint at a story. I'm probably better as a field reporter than a creative writer. Unfortunately, my genetic make-up doesn't include creative writing, only business writing. You, Mano, and the rest of the bfffers has all the creativity in this area. I'll look into ordering some creative writing genes. Outside of ICQ, do any of you use any other venues for private communications? I'd really like to know.
BTW, saw MK and Mother at a grocery store. Respecting their privacy, I did not and would not attempt at any contact. However, was glad to see that she looked healthy, not skinny like she was last season. It always concerns me when an athlete looks too gaunt.

well
OT but wanted to tell you...as I was closing the door to my dorm room this morning I pulled the door closed on my toes leaving one toe quite damaged...so based on the fact that it's extremely painful to walk and I now walk at a speed of a foot per hour I have decided to only walk when I have to...so I'm going to avoid the long walk to the library and be MIA until I can walk with more ease...But it would be nice to be greeted with a new story when I come back (*hint*hint)...

Hey eilaram...
hope your toe is feeling better. I promise to finish up the "Ray" story for you this weekend. Hope that helps any. Actually, I'm going to start working on Ice Age again and be more involved in BFFF. This summer has been like the drought season of BFFF...wait, did we write a lot of stories and have a lot of spliced pics last summer?
Okay, since my teleportation machine is in the shop and my flying powers have been non-existent lately due to my cape being in the cleaners, can anybody stop by Disney Ice to watch the Ducks during Training camp? Here's the particulars:
ANAHEIM, Calif. - The National Hockey League's (NHL) Mighty Ducks of Anaheim will have their first day on the ice for 2000 Training Camp on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Disney ICE (300 W. Lincoln Ave. in Anaheim), beginning at 10:00 a.m. The first week of training camp at Disney ICE (through Friday, Sept. 15) is open to the public from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and again from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. There will be no practice at Disney ICE on Tuesday, Sept. 12, due to the Mighty Ducks First Flight Intersquad Game at the Arrowhead Pond (a scrimmage for local area schools).
Would love to see how Paul is doing these days. It's like he made like a Ninja and disappeared. What's up with that? At least we all know that Michelle is healthy and looking beautiful as ever (not that Paul ever noticed, the bum) so it would be nice to find out if he changed any.
Oh and weird wild stuff. The Ducks are thinking of hiring Neil Smith, former general manager of the Rangers, to be VP of Hockey Operations or something to replace Ferreira who just left for the Thrashers. Funny thing is, when I temped for a couple of weeks as receptionist over at MSG in '97, I had to buzz him in, but sometimes the buttons didn't respond well so he would be staring through the glass doors with a "hello, VIP here, let me in now!" And I'd give a "use your access card to get in, you lazy bum!" look. Nah, I had to apologize for the inconvenience instead. Good thing that was only for a couple of weeks else I'd really show my true colors. Wow, if he gets hired I can actually say that in a way I have a connection of sorts with the Ducks Org. How scary is that?
