She actually wears the red dress when they go out to the opera. If you are interested, here is a picture of the dress:

I have read that when Richard Gere opens the box with the diamond encrusted necklace Julie touched it with her fingertips and then he snapped the box shut causing her to pull her hand away in laughter, that that part of the scene was ad-libbed for Julia's reaction . I love that movie!!!
Yup Twinner, Garry Marshal had Richard Gere improvise that specifically so they can get her real laugh, especially since she was realitively new on the Hollywood scene and her laugh was supposedly infectious on the set.
Another interesting "Pretty Woman" fact is that when filming the dinner scene with the sorbet, Julia took too big a bite of the sorbet and began to have an "ice scream" headache and all the goes with it. It wasn't in the movie; however, Garry Marshal wanted it re-created in another coming of age movie so he had it put in. That movie was "The Princess Diaries."![]()
To answer your question regarding Snow White, I imdb-ed it, and the witch does indeed ask Snow White to make a wish. Here is the exact dialogue:
Queen: And since you've been so good to poor old Granny, I'll share a secret with you. This is no ordinary apple. It's a magic wishing apple.
Snow White: A wishing apple?
Queen: Yes. One bite, and all your dreams will come true.
Snow White: Really?
Queen: Yes, girlie. Now, make a wish, and take a bite.
Garry Marshall is an extremely nice person. I was at a play he happened to pop in, and he went around and talked to all the kids (it was a kids play). I was too shy to approach him, now I really regret it! I really admire his work, and have watched films he directed so many times.
I adore that red dress
