Hey all,
I received this from our web host today. The situation seems urgent and to prevent from any possible problems, they will be shutting down the servers at 1PM EST. So do NOT panic if you cannot visit MKF at that time for about a half hour.

Hi All,
During a routine walkthrough of the datacenter, technicians found
that the visual alert indicator was lit on the server your VPS system
is on. This indicator signals problems ranging from a redundant drive
failure to the overflow of an internal diagnostic log file. In all
cases, this means that nothing is wrong with the server nor is there
any permanent damage to the machine or it's ability to operate.
Instead, this is for maintenance that needs to be resolved to prevent
a possible upcoming failure.
To mitigate this issue, we need to turn off the machine and run some
diagnostics that must be done during the boot sequence of the
machine. We will be doing this at 1PM EST tomorrow. Because of the
potentially precarious situation this machine could be in, we need to
preform this operation as soon as possible. We do not expect an
extended downtime, but until we know the exact cause of the alert, we
cannot give an exact ETA. The worst possible case is a failed hard
drive in our redundant array, which will require the physical swap
out of that drive. At most, that would be 30 minutes of work
(including the rebuilding of that drive), so that would be the
maximum expected downtime for this operation. We will have multiple
technicians available to aid with the situation if it is warranted,
so rest assured we will be doing our absolute best to get this done
as quickly and safely as possible.
Thanks for your understanding,
