I can't remember what all the initials stand for. I think TES is technical skills, And SS is skating skills and I guess TR is transitions. Could someone please post them again? This time I'll save them somewhere for reference. Thanks a bunch. :hug

Thanks Janice.
Now, can someone post the abbreviations for all of the skating elements? I can't seem to make out what's what on protocols readout.
Or maybe there's a link that someone can direct me to?
Thanks.

For Spins
LSp = Layback Spin
USp = Upright Spin
SSp = Sit Spin
CSp = Camel Spin
CoSp = combination spin
F before anything means it was a flying entrance of the spin
C before anything means it had a change of foot
SlSt = Straight line step sequence
CiST = Circular step sequence
SeSt = Serpentien step sequence
SpSt = Spiral step sequence
Numbers right after it denote the level! :D Like SpSt4 for Spiral Step Sequence Level 4
Hope that helps!

Thanks again Kwanboy, this is super.
Yes, i hope the moderators can somehow book mark this so others can refer to it without having buried deep somewhere.
I think someone already brought this up but it might not have been answered.
Why is a sequence only worth 80% of the total points? Sequence surely are more difficult than performing each alone. Are they giving preference to combos over sequence? It seems like the ISU would rather you do a combo than a sequence even though a sequence is more difficult than each jump done alone.

I attribute that to HUAS (Head Up *** Syndrome) because the ISU is stupid (if you sak me) It just like why are combinations given no extra credit that the value of the two jumps performed seperately. This is what happens when a orgnization is run mostly by speed skaters with all of it's money coming from figure skating. Bad news. There is no way someone can tell me a triple lutz/triple loop is just as difficult as performing both jumps seperately. The sequence rule is even more stoopid.
