There used to be a list of the requirements one needed to have to be a sweeper. I'll see if I can find it again. Then there are also medal presenters that have the same standards, but are a bit older. I know one of the requirements were being able to follow directions. They must have nice and strong stroking. During the tryout they have to go out and pick things up off of the ice. Usually they have quite a few that try out, but then they only choose a handful of those.

They've got to be able to stay on their feet, pick things up, etc like Dawn said. I don't think they use COP to judge the skaters. :lol Definitely no quads required. :eek It says he is a "celebrity" judge. Just something to attract some media attention & participation in tryouts for those who want to meet Tim. Nice of him to do this during such a busy season.

Hey, what if I still look 13 even if I'm older? You think they'd let me try out? :lol I really have had people think I'm that young...oy! lol
Anyway that'll be cool for the kids trying out to see Tim and all. :)
