Just the same vaguary as expected (not a lot of specifics regarding jump layouts), but she sounds confident and at least there'll be a couple or so of bright American spots at Campbells - Sasha, kimmie and Emily. It's a dumb given/fat that two Americans will make the top 3.:b

will she be using tchaikovsky's or prokofiev's romeo and juliet? methinks prokofiev's bold musical brush strokes would suit her dramatic style much better.

Moskva, She's using the version by Nino Rota which is from the motion picture in the 60's or 70's. She has skated to this many times in exhibitions. It is a beautiful number.8)

Yeah, Sasha's R&J exhibition program was a good one. That music A Time For Us always makes me feel sad everytime I hear it. Gah, how shameful.. lol.. But anyways, I liked the dress that she wore for the program-- the one that is gray and fades to black.

Lets hope to God she has a dress...

I don't know how much "nearer" the competition she can get:p

I am sure she has a dress laying around. Atleast a relief no last minute injury mostly with all the injuries lately.

I think Sasha's dresses are probably complete. But once she actually wore them, she probably wanted something changed with how they either fit her or how they looked.

I am sure she has 100s of skating dresses that fit her perfectly. If worse comes to worse, she'll be wearing a temp dress until Skate America.

As a seamstress, I enjoy reading Sasha's journal entires about her dresses -- but it does seem that she and/or the dressmaker are always cutting it very close as to getting them done on time.:eek

I would think that timely delivery (at least 2 weeks before competition) would be part of the contract.

If Sasha ever gets married, expect to hear that her dress is still being beaded the night before.:rollin
