American Idol-like dance competition reality TV show

Does anyone remember seeing the advertisement for a new reality TV show where dancers compete? I really want to watch it, being a dancer and cheerleader when I was in school. But I can't remember the name of the show, what channel it is on and when. If anyone has any info, please let me know!

It's called "Dancing With the Stars" on ABC, Wednesdays nights at 9 eastern. (Starts this week, I think)

Is that the one you're thinking of? I think there's a different one coming in the Fall (it might be more AI-like) too.

There are 2 different shows. The one coming on this Wednesday, Dancing With The Stars, is not the AI one. The AI one starts in August I think and it will air on the AI channel, Fox. The AI producers are the ones doing the show in August. I've seen the promos for it and it's different than the show starting this week, but in the AI format.

I'm looking forward to the Dancing with Stars one. I mean, Evander Holyfield?!?!?!?!? Plus I love Jennifer Garner and I love ballroom dancing and I can't wait to see them all square off. This will be lots of fun!

Thanks everyone! I didn't realize there were 2 different shows. I'll probably watch them both and see if I like them. I read that Joey McIntyre from NKOTB was going to be on the one that starts this week. I was SO in love with him when I was in like 4th grade, ha ha ha!!

Anyway, there's also "Hit Me Baby One More Time" on NBC that I'm looking forward to, lol. It premiers tonight with: A Flock of Seagulls, Arrested Development, CeCe Peniston, Loverboy, and Tiffany.
