Canadian Idol 3...

Are there any fans? I absolutely loved CI2 last year (with Elena Juatco and Theresa Sokyrka as my favorites), and this season just started off... They've aired three auditions so far... Though, I must download episodes, since I'm in L.A.. I noticed a big AI following, but is anyone else into CI?


I could post this season's episodes if anyone is interested. I also have some of last year's eps, mostly with Elena and Theresa, and the group medleys.

I love watching Canadian Idol. Last year I was rooting for Theresa and was glad she made it into the top two. Kalan (sp?) was cute enough though.

For me, the best thing to come out of Canadian Idol was Jenny Gear. It seemed like forever before Jenny Gear and the Whiskey Kittens put out an album. It has become one of my absolute favorites.

I'm looking forward to the new season; some of the auditions were quite good. And some, quite bad! LOL!

LOL!!! I thought this nonsense was confined to the U.S.!!! :lol What's next??? Cambodian Idol....Bolivian Idol.....Jamaican Idol??? I think they should have a TV show with the "Idols" from all over the world going, head to head, for the title of "WORLD IDOL"!!! It would probably be pretty interesting, and I might even watch it myself, and whoever won, would probably be super famous!!!

They did do that......and it was hurrendous. It aired on New Year's Day. Even Simon was disappointed. It was worst than the top 30 American Idol shows. But all the idols are huge in their prospective countries.

I think Canadian Idol tends to be a lot more artsy than American Idol which uses a lot of mainstream music. Last year's Canadian Idol actually was better than any American Idol I have seen. They were all great singers and they were all very good looking too.

lol... the Idol franchise has been popular abroad in other countries... which are going into their third or fourth seasons as well...
