Random: TV show House, M.D.

Just wondering, has anyone seen this show before? I started watching it because it was on after American Idol, because I was too lazy to get up and change the channel, which in turn was because I was too lazy to find the remote. Anyway, now I'm hooked on this show! There's smart writing, great actors, intriguing medical mysteries, and House's sarcastic lines are classic. Or is everyone else watching Patrick Dempsey on Grey's Anatomy? :lol

I watch both House and Grey's Anatomy. I missed the very first episode of House and a couple of others throughout the season that I just plain old forgot to watch and then to top it off, I missed the season finale. Hoping to see the ones I missed in reruns. I watched Grey's Anatomy because Patrick Dempsey was on and love it! Hugh Laurie (Greg House) has his own appeal for me as well even though he isn't a hunk, per say.

There were lots of good new shows this season!!

I started watching House late in the season and it was hard to sort out who everyone was and the relationships. But I really liked cranky Dr. House so I stuck with it. So it's great that the reruns have started and I can watch it from the beginning. I really like the fact that he's wrong a lot in the show, until he finally gets the right diagnosis. He reminds me a lot of Monk, the way he picks up on tiny little details that everyone else misses. It's a really good show. Plus, it's set in NJ.

I don't watch Grey's Anatomy. I don't usually watch doctor shows; the last one I watched was St. Elsewhere. That was a great show; I wonder why it's never come back in reruns. At least I haven't seen it anywhere.

I like the show a lot. I heard real doctors have viewing parties and compete to see who can solve the illness. The medicine in the show is accurate.

Love this show, the writing is incredible. The last two shows of the season are incredible.

House is great. I watch it every wednesday. My friend loves it as well.

The guy that plays house is actually in quite a few movies. He has a small part in Sense and Sensability, and a larger part in Flight of the Phoenix with Dennis Quaid, and some other movies as well. He's a great actor.

I really enjoy House! We've watched it since it debuted, and I was thrilled that is picked up so well in the ratings once American Idol began. It truly seems to have picked up a good following and will hopefully continue to keep that momentum going through next season.

Hugh Laurie is just great is that role. I've heard that Sela Ward becomes a regular next season, so things could get dicey for the Doc...

We also watched Grey's Anatomy, though it's not quite as well written as House, IMO. It does have a really good ensemble cast though. Oh, and does anyone else think George is just adorable? ;)

House is one of the few "must see" shows of my week. I really love it. Hope season 2 keeps up the high quality.

I hope season two doesn't turn into a long drawn out, will they or won't they get back together? I hope the show stays focused on the weird medical problems.

I love this show also. I like all the mystery illnesses that they solve and just the whole show in general.

Maybe I should change my username to kwanpistonshousefan. Although I probably couldn't, lol. My dream thing happening is our lovely Michelle making a cameo on the show, maybe visiting a sick girl who's a figure skating fan. That would be awesome!
