One of the MAG7 is returning to competition and will be competing at the US classic in attemplt to qualfy for nats in july..........drumroll please.........its domi m........www.insidegymnastics.com (http://www.insidegymnastics.com) has a nice interview up....www.intlgymnast.com (http://www.intlgymnast.com) also had a piece on her about a week ago........she is hoping to be a vault and floor specialist which will be interesting considered she had a serious knee inury after the 2000 trials.....post thoughts.

wow! I'm in shock! I certainly wish her the best but wow... there are so many hot shots to contend with nowadays... even some of the athletes from Athens are out of shape and retired now. Best of luck to her though!

Wow, that is big news! I was totally not expecting that at all to be what this was about. I figured it would have to do with someone retiring or something. I love Dominique M. She was such a cutie when they were at the Olympics in '96! :)

That is SOOO exciting. I love her! But I'm going to miss seeing her on the balance beam. That is her best event.

Well, I'm happy to hear that's she's coming back on the scene. I read the article at insidegymnastics.com and it was good to hear from her. I'm glad she's keeping it real and not trying to overreach at this point.

I can't believe she's only 23! I hope she does well but I don't think she'll be back to the level she was at in 95-96...or at least not right away. But anything can happen, just look at Mohini B...who'd thought she'd make the 2004 team. Maybe she inspired Dom.

i remember reading her book, "American Champion" when i was in 2nd or 3rd grade......some time during elementary school.

i would love to see carly and her compete against other.
