LaToya London will be on Soul Train this coming Saturday to debut 2 singles from her album to be released on July 19th.

Thanks for the link : ).. well, specifically for Jasmine's site. I really like her music - her r&b stuff. It's awesome. I hope she makes it big.. it sounds like it would fit perfectly what's on the radio. I had heard some of her newer songs and they were very weak ballads, and I had expected that her new album would be the same, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's r&b.

the girl is SO gorgeous, I am absolutely jealous! Of that voice and her face.. dang :D

I've been waiting and waiting for Carmen's CD to come out. She was always one of my faves in Season 2.

Yesss, Jasmine Trias. I always try to bite my tongue and not go overboard on the forum when talking about her. However, I figured what the heck and let you all in on another fun hobby of mine and do some Jasmine promoting while I'm at it. :b

She was my favorite on last season's idol and I use to go on lots of the boards to discuss Jasmine's performances and who was going to get voted off. I even signed up for what was an unofficial Jasmine Trias Street Team. It reminds me of MKF alot. It was just a bunch of die hard Jasmine Fans who wanted to support her new music career. Whats really cool, is that Clockwork Entertainment (Jasmine's Record Label) made this Jasmine's Official Street Team and we get a lot of advanced information, music, promo pictures and perks to assist with promoting Jasmine throughout the US.

I was surprised to see a link to her New Website. It has been under construction for a while and just went live on June 8th.

Once Jasmine's CD is released on July 12th, it will be available on her website for $12.99. There will also be a combo CD/DVD available for $16.99 (A signed Photo of Jasmine will be included with the combo pack).

Jasmine's CD will be distributed to the following stores:

Border's
Wal-Mart
K-Mart
Sam's Club
Cosco
Virgin Records

Work is under way to try and have the following stores also sell her CD: Target, Best Buy, Circuit City and Warehouse Music. Some stores are reluctant to stock CDs of artists that are signed to Independent Labels.

You can also hear the full track to her new single "Excuses" and cuts of several other songs as well as a 11 minute sampler of the new album. Jasmine will occasionally post, but its not often due to her busy schedule.

A Promo Track with the following three songs was sent out to radio stations last week or is being sent out to some this week:

If you're a fan of hers, start requesting "Excuses". If for some reason your radio station doesn't have the promo of hers, PM me with the contact info of the radio station and I'll forward the request to Clockwork Entertainment and they will make sure that your local radio station gets a copy.

I wonder if Jasmine will make a stop at Ryan Seacrest's radio station??? That is usually a stop that most artists make when they are doing an LA media tour. They may not play her song on a regular basis, but still it would be a great chance to get her name out there and to remind all the AI fans that listen to his show about her.

Thanks for all of the info on Jasmine. From the clips of music on her website, it appears to be the kind of R&B music you could put on and just kind of kick back to. Very relaxing. :)

Dawn - I agree - Ryan's radio show would be a great stop for Jasmine! I got Carmen's EP and really like a couple of songs from it. I love country music and you kind of have to be a country music fan to like it.

I saw La Toya's first song, I was really disappointed, even though I was never a big fan of hers anyway. Her voice gets really shaky and thins out when she goes for the higher notes.

I was actually impressed a little with Jasmine's cd, it's much more polished than I thought.
