I am thinking of going to see it. My brother said it was super good, and recommended it. However, the girls I am going with don't like sexual content (they're younger too). And I don't necessarily like seeing it all either...so, my question, is there a lot of sexual content? Or just a brief, quick scene? And was it pretty, uh, non-explicit?

hi and hello...
i watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith twice already because i loved it that much. it is a really great movie to see.
to answer your question, no there was not a lot of sexually explicit scenes. there were a few minor make out scenes but thats it. not a lot of skin was shown. so it is good clean viewing for younger people.
this movie is classified as an action comedy and it totally lives up to it. Brad Pitt is hilarious.

Here is the official viewer-rating description for "Mr. and Mrs. Jones":
"Rated PG-13 for sequences of violence, intense action, sexual content and brief strong language."
As a viewer (and aunt of preteens), I am always more disturbed by sequences of violence than by sequences of sexual content, but whatever ...
I did read that the film started out as rather steamy (which ignited all the Brad-Angelina rumors), but that most of those scene were later deleted so that the film would be PG-13 instead of R. (They will likely be restored to the DVD version.) It's entirely likely that the studio never intended for these scenes to be in the final cut, and just promoted them as a way to increase
pre-release publicity for the film. If that was the strategy, it obviously worked very well!

I loved this movie, and yeah there were a few heavy make out scenes, but no nudity or anything like that.
This was a very entertaining movie with action, drama, and comedy. Best blockbuster of the year so far :)

So there are only make out scenes, some steamy, but no sex scenes and nothing that is overly explicit?
Thanks.

well they're in bed at one point, but you don't see anything, just them from the shoulders up, and its a very short scene. Then you see her wrapped in a sheet the next morning.

Hmmm...okay. I've been talking with the girls I am taking, and they mentioned "no sexual scenes" or not overly explicit. And I would feel horrible/embarassed if the scenes are a bit over the top. Do you know what I mean?

Yeah. I don't remember the scene completely, but yeah I wouldn't go to that one, just to be safe, if they're that sensitive about that kind of stuff.

No, they aren't THAT sensitive. They (nor do I) want to see full out, explicit sex scenes. I just talked to my brother, who has seen the movie, and he too, said it was not bad. Nothing I should be overly worried or cautious about.

Grace, I mentioned it to them and the one said that she only heard it was so-so. I would like to see it, but I don't want to force it on them...I figure I'll go see it with my bud when she comes to Texas. ;) Or sometime.

Oh please... given the track record of recent Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie movies... the sexual content in Mr. and Mrs. Smith is like a speck of dust on the moon.
The movie's hilarious albeit predictable. They're both so beautiful and that's 50% of the movie for me. Their sessions at the counselor are too cute. My favorite line is when Brad Pitt says "Sometimes you just feel like..." and he does this strangling motion with his hands. Haha...

I totally agree with you. The movie is enjoyable, but not brilliant by ANY MEANS. The story is actually quite thin. The best part is getting to see Angelina and Brad as a couple because they make a REALLY BEAUTIFUL COUPLE. But that is about it!
