I was reading about the soundtrack for this upcoming televison epic movie, Into The West, on TNT and I noticed it mentions "Fallen" by Sarah McLachlan (think that's correct spelling of her name). Is that the music Michelle skated to as her exhibition?

Anybody watching this movie? I'm hooked. Watched first and second parts and can't wait for next weekend's which is 3rd part. USA Today Robert Bianco, tv critic, kind of slam it, but if you click onto the TNT website for this movie, others are giving it a thumb up reviews, for example, LA Times, Denver Posts, etc.

Kerri Russell is so damn good in this series. She speaks in a vocak register deeper than Felicity and proves her acting range, also speaking in Cherokee, a Native American dialect. She hasn't aged one bit. Also check her out in the Joan Allen/Kevin Costner movie about an alcoholic mother and her 3 alcoholic daughters (Kelli is one of them). Also check out Felicity reruns on Women's Entertainment cable (WE).

The song Sarah did for this movie is a remake of "World on Fire" not "Fallen." I think AOL had the video available to watch before the movie came out. I know they had to change the line of the song about planes crashign to make it fit Into the West. I don't really care for the guy that sings with her in this version of the song. But both versions of "World on Fire" are good.
I've been taping it, but haven't got a chance to watch it yet. Knowing my luck it won't be until after all parts of aired that I finally get to watch it! :lol
I'm glad to hear that it is a good movie.

At least the movie showed the women/children trekking cross country on foot because the wagons don't have room for passengers only for belongings and food. Instead of the usual Hollywood flick showing them sitting comfy in a wagon. :rolleyes I liked the detail especially the part where they had to leave their valuables due to weight issues.
The mountain men can be brutes but many of them actually married Native American Women and treated them fairly. In fact, after trading the mountain men love to parade their Native American wives in beautiful gown, beads and so on to show off in pride to other mountain men how beautiful their wife is. Wished they showed that though.
ETA: took out some spoilers, others might not have seen it yet.
