I think it's great that he's going for it again. It will really make the mix interesting the next 2 years. I hope he does great!

Yeah, it will be very intersting for the next two seasons, with mens, ladies, pairs, and dance! I can't wait for it to get started!

I do support him coming back and can't wait actually!!!
I just hope that the two years he took off from major international competitions won't hurt him with the judges, especially since men's skating has evolved soooo much in the past 2 years technically. Elvis stayed in there the past two years.
Todd just needs a good quad (or two) other than that, I don't think there's a skater who can touch him both technically or in presentation. ;)

Based on his bronze medal at worlds, todd obviously still has more to give to the elligible skating world.

So long as a competitor wishes to try, and can deliver the goods without hurting himself, I think he should compete.

I love Todd's skating and it was sad seeing him go through the 98 Olympics. At least now there isn't that much pressure for him to be the gold medalist. I would just be happy to see him do a great performance at the olympics.

I get the feeling that the people who voted "no" most likely did so because Todd beat their favorite skater this season (or still has the potential to do so) ! ;)

You've got that right basil888! I wish him all the best as he sets out for that stretch toward what will probably be his last Olympics. GO TODD!! :D

I will support him as long as he wishes to compete in elegible skating. If anyone thinks he is 'taking' another skaters place think again. He is earning his chances just like everyone else. If someone wants the place Todd has they have to perform better than Todd is. I hope skating's 'old guys' prove all the naysayers wrong and compete up to the best of their ablility for the rest of the season!

Isn't Todd under contract to perform with SOI during the same period of time that he would need to be practicing and competing at Nats and Worlds. And didn't his touring with them last year make him a PRO. PROs can't reinstate anymore, and SOI doesn't allow their skaters time off for elegible competitions, and if Todd appears in an unsanctioned tour like SOI this year, that also would make him inelegible. So I don't understand how he could compete at Nats or Worlds.
Even if they let him do it, he'd have to go to Regionals, Sectionals competitions to make himself elegible for Nationals because he didn't compete at Nationals last year.
