Much as I adore Michelle, I have to say I have just not been over the top, I-need-to-get-that-CD wild over her music from the past 2 seasons (Fate of Carmen being the exception). I loved Romanza, Salome, DOD, Taj Mahal, Lyra and Rach so much, maybe it spoiled me for anything in the future....? I have to wait and see about her LP music this season, I may love it, I don't know yet. But as of right now, I am not digging her music choices as much as I used to, especially her exhibition numbers. I have not really cared for any of the exhibition numbers' music (Hands excepted) since Dante's Prayer in 1998. But, as she's the one who has to skate to it hundreds and hundreds of times in practice, Michelle is certainly entitled to skate to whatever she wants no matter what anyone thinks! :) :)

I voted for jump combos. although she also needs improvement in speed.

I liked the excitement in Ariane and Red Violin. I hope she brings this excitement back. Providing that she leaves her hair alone.

I voted for jumps combos. I want to see harder ones and second spins. she has great positions, and well centered spins and steady speed but I want more speed.

I voted for spins, but then I realized I should have voted for more interesting choreography.

The cool thing is that's going to happen this season.

violin I actually thought her short hair when superbly with the music for araine especially at the end when she does the footwork and her hair is flying all over the place which shows great speed and freedom and the outfit went better with it I can't see a bun for it.

Nothing I hope! Like I have said many times before, I would like Michelle to win the Olympic gold medal.

For now I would say her double axle. She's been singling them lately.

I really don't think she needs to improve anywhere. But if I have to say it would be triple-triples, but so do alot of other skaters. I know Michelle can make them easily, but theres not alot of pressure to do so, so her and Irina don't. She landed it at worlds, probaly because she thought she needed it since Sarah had done two at the olys, but once she saw she didn't need it she doesn't take the chance. She's not lazy and I don't blame her for not doing them, their hard and not always nessacary.

I would have 2 say jump combos cuz she's not doing very many 3/3's and other ppl are.

This was a tough one.

I voted combos because the "lack of 3/3s" brand haunts her, even if it's unjust or untrue, it is the most used criticism and I'd hate to have to hear it again in 06.

What I personally want to see: ITA with AEHodman about the music. I used to relish her (it was probably Lori's) unusual music choices. Schez, Rach again, TFB, Aranchez, TFB again, Tosca....Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. With all that time off, you'd think she'd get down to Virgin and buy some new CDs already.

Michelle needs to improve her spins, in particular her layback. Her layback is pretty, but it isn't as difficult as many of her competitors laybacks. The leg down position is easy, no real arch of the back, the leg up is what makes a layback difficult.
