my other favorite skater's were Debi Thomas, and Nancy Kerrigan. When you said past ten years those two came to mind automatically. I still like Tara but she hasn't been out of the Olympic's very long and is still skating. Debi on the other hand isn't skating at all anymore, and I don't know how often Nancy is skating these days being a mom and all. I hope this makes sense.

She was my favorite female skater until Michelle came along and I still really love her and her skating. She seems like a such a lovely person and her skating is so soft and beautiful.

accomplishments as a Pairs and Single skater. She ranks
up there among my all-time favorite skaters.

I voted for other - Katia Gordeeva. Changing to a successful singles career after the death of Sergei is an incredible accomplishment and must have been very hard. Besides, I like her smile. :)

I voted for Kristi! I really loved LuLu's long program at the 96 worlds. It was so beautiful! I think she really deserved to win. But then at the end she lost all her jumps. But this doesn't mean I don't love Michelle!:)

I really like Surya Bonaly! Yeah, sure she's not you're average skater always being beautiful and graceful on the ice, but she gets the audiences going and her backflip is incredible! I met her once before also!

Kristi was my first favorite skater and after she retired I thought there wouldn't be any other American skater that I can root for. Don't get me wrong I liked Nancy but there are some skaters that naturally you feel closer too and I thought no other American female skater would give me that feeling until Michelle came.
