Surprisingly, it hasn't hit 100 degrees in Orlando yet, but that's because it's raining 24/7. I think we broke the record for June!

It hasn't reached 100 here in North Texas yet this year, close but no cigar. And boy if you can, please send some of that rain our way. We are way under this year.
Our community goes on every other day watering starting on June 15th no matter what the rain fall has been. I think its a great idea and wish some type of enforcement would be provided.
There seem to be a lot of people watering their lawns from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. whch is the hotest part of the day in this area. And it drives me right up a wall when someone is watering the street. What a waste.
Other than the weather, hot and muggy, it's been quiet and I like it that way. Of course I haven't been watching network programming so that may be part of the quiet.

It actually got up to 108 with the heat index and on Sunday it was 110 w/ the heat index. 4dk is right, WE need RAIN!!!.
I am ready for the fall. I am spending time in the pool on my raft, so i have a nice sunburn now. I wish I could tan like other people do.
I get frustrated too 4dk, with people watering the streets and their lawns during the hottest time of the day. It doesn't make sense.
Emerald, yes, we need it. I am hoping that with the news Tropical Storm possibly coming this way, we will get some rain from it. I don't want it to do any damage, just enough rain to cool us off for a short time!!!!. Texas summers are horrible. he winters are great though. it almost makes up for the summers.

Okay, hopefully the rain will move from FL and go to Texas and wherever you live, Kwanfanatic. Sounds like you guys need it more than we do! Our lakes are overflowing!
