One reason I don't think I could ever have been a lawyer is that I would find it difficult to advocate for something with which I disagree.

That doesn't seem to bother Judge Roberts. Whether that's a point on which he should be opposed or supported for the Court, I don't know. But I think it is something of which I think the Senators should be aware, and apparently they are.

It is a quality to look for,especially in potential judges.There are times when you have to put your own opinions on hold in favour of doing what's right.I don't agree with every law and think maybe we need some new laws.In the eyes of the courts,my opinions don't count. Lawyers and judges have jobs to do,even when their jobs conflict with their personal opinions.
