First off I would like to ask that since the BFFF threads always have lots of pictures in them, that if you have a personal pic or banner in your signature to please refrain from posting it more than once in a thread so that it doesn't take the thread as long to load. Thanks a lot!

BFFFers' Ten Commandments by Yingshan
10. You shall not put forth any KFC around MK's temple where we worship.
9. You shall put the success of our production above your personal gain (no whining about pay)
8. You shall do everything to further our causes, e.g. sending PK a MK's book, hinting of MK when you can talk to PK, no matter whether it makes you a laughingstock.
7. You shall not nominate any guys for MK lightly (You shall do a detailed background check before mentioning it here). Our girl deserves the best.
6. You shall not be vulgar in any creative writing or picture splicing.
5. You shall not throw yourself at any guy who we consider a good match for MK no matter how attractive you find him to be or how close you get to him. This is a non-competitive clause.
4. You shall not mention any BFFF outside of this thread, especially not in any PK Forum.
3. You shall have a sense of humor.
2. You shall not mistake any writings here as "news".
1. You shall bow to the high pristess's wisdom at all time! (Should be optional if you ask me)

Any bold has been done so by me and any [italics] in brackets has been added by me, not the original authors.

Skatingfan
For first time visitors WELCOME. This is 100% fan fiction. Fan fictioners agree to start a new chapter whenever the thread grows to 80 messages long. We also agree to never discuss this fan fiction material outside of Fan Fiction Land, i.e. we do not post any of this in rssif, FSW, or other threads in this MK forum etc. [Or the PK Forum] Fan fictioners are in the process of producing a play on MK and PK - Paul Kariya the captain of Mighty Ducks. The genius writer is Mano, contributing writers are Kooky, Yingshan (who is also the set designer), Wonder, A-Chan, and Littlepebbles. Chemy is the photographer. Magenta is the ultimate matchmaker, and the rest are managers of this co. I come here just to chill out. Sometimes we refer to MK as 6.0 b/c of the unprecedented # of perfect 6.0s she earned, and PK as #9, he wears #9.

Yingshan
To New Comers: Welcome to our fantasyland! The purpose of this place is for us to have some fun with our favorite skater: Michelle Kwan. We weave fictional accounts and speculations into very skimpy facts. So you'll be in serious trouble if you take what we say here seriously. And everything we say here are for your and our eyes only. None of this should be repeated elsewhere on the USNET, e.g. RSSIF, FSW.... [Or the PK Forum!!!!!]

We're creating a romance novel/movie script. It's temporarily named "Ice to Ice" (I like "Icy Affairs" better). The leads are Michelle Kwan ("6.0") and Mighty Ducks captain Paul Kariya (#9). No, we don't know whether there's anything going on between them. We pick them to write because we think they make a perfect couple. [And not only because they're both Asian, or Asian and 1/2 Asian!] The main screen writer is Mano. I'm the producer/editor. My partner in production is Magenta. Chemy is our photographer. Wonder is my co-editor. Skatingfan is our sound whiz. Blizzard is our art director. Kooky and annabelle are on our contributing writing team. Littlepebbles is our director.

Welcome to stay and watch our creative process. But please obey our confidentiality rule. We don't want our brilliant ideas being pirated.

One More Criteria.....
for anyone who wants to read here:

YOU NEED A SENSE OF HUMOR!

Mano
Do not adjust your monitors, you have just entered...the Boyfriends Fan Fiction Zone (AKA BFFF)

If you are feeling lightheaded, dizzy, and see Michael Jordan back with the Chicago BULLs (pun intended), you must STOP, click the "Back button" and seek medical attention quickly.

If you happen to have a good sense of humor and realize that this is truly 100 % PURE FAN FICTION, then welcome to our humble abode.

Remember, we are not responsible for any mental injuries that might occur upon seeing the fictional stories and pictures. In other words, enter at your own risk. However, we do offer BFFF Life Insurance. Ask one of our agents for more info.

Without further ado...(drum roll)
May I present the stars of the show...

This is lp here:
Not that PK fans aren't welcome, they are as long as they don't show up trolling, send threatening e-mails, or go running back to the PK forum bashing us and Michelle. Cause unfortunately all that stuff has happened. Hope everyone enjoys our antics but watch out for Yingshan, she bites sometimes!

LP is on top of things here, hey! I guess LP's been selected to be the coordinator.

Skatingfan/Mano: MK brought up the Ruby earings 1st. I only mentioned the B-day gift.

Barang: I will try to meet you at HealthSouth if you can come during MK's evening practice on the following days: Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. Just give me advance notice and exact date.

BTW, love the thank you speeches. When was that posted. Also love the Ice Age Cometh. Mano, you should read (provided you can find time) Daughter of the Empire, Servant of the Empire, and Mistress of the Empire. They may give you lots of inspiration for future sequels.

I did not know that you post or used to post at cbs sportsline. I was just lurking there, and
an old thread about "who got your interested in f.s." is resurrected, and I saw one of your
message from 1998.
BTW, there is a new thread there call, " MK raised the technical bar", the person who
started that thread said Mk is working on a new 3/3, of course did not say what 3/3,
or the % of success of landing the new 3/3. I oh so wish some REAL Kwanophiles live
close enough by Healthsouth, and be able to go there daily to watch her practice.

Acoma, PLEASE go as often as possible. I am still having severe MK withdraw.
BTW, Acoma when will we read your first story here? Hint, hint.

Gals/guys don't forget Tiger v Sergio tonight at ABC. :)

I'll do that once I'm done with the project I have from work. Then hopefully my schedule will be back to normal and I can take time to read those books. I think the last time I wrote anything for Ice Age was January or February and that's pathetic of me. Good thing Yingshan hasn't been around much else I'd be voted off this particular island. (Ha, got to use that catch phrase and I never even saw a drop of Survivor).

Time for my weekly dose of Things that make you go hmmnnnn...

I read on a Maine U hockey message board that they saw on the news Paul, Kurt Russell, and Paul's college coach Shawn Walsh playing golf. Walsh is in LA receiving cancer treatment and I heard he is staying at Kurt Russell and Goldie's house since Kurt is a big Maine U hockey fan...

***
If the above is true, I hope and pray that his coach's cancer will go in remission. Which reminds me, I haven't checked out how Shallah's dad is doing 'cause I know his cancer is in remission too, I better find that thread.

Also...you folks remember that the last time Michelle watched a Hockey game (Sept '99, pre-season game with the Ducks vs Kings at the old Forum, Pk didn't play, but he was there), it was printed on LA Times that along with Michelle, other celebrities watching were Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn...'nuff said.

Okay, not 'nuff said, just got another project so apparently I will be quite busy, which means I may not be online for a while. I may check my email from time to time, but otherwise consider me MIA. All apologies folks. Hold the fort while I'm gone. A river there, gee.

no matter how bad the situation is, I have to have a dose of MKF and BFFF. Hadas, go ahead and write a story. Just follow Yingshan's commandments to keep her happy.

Skatingfan, LOL, Wylie on Steroids is Stu Grimson, AKA the Grim Reaper. Ironic isn't it? He's with the LA Kings now...to make sure his new teammates don't hit on Michelle. ;)

LP, hope you're doing alright. Any news on the car? Apologies for the other day, my server disconnected on me and I couldn't get back on. I got back online at 6:30, but disabled ICQ 'cause I had to do my work. I didn't go into ICQ at all yesterday night.

Most of you are MIA. I think a Hadas story will bring us back, go Hadas.

Are you guys/gals ready for the weekend.

Something nice happens today, I received something from MK.
Remember in the early summer of 99, someone MK Dragon? posted a link
of a publishing house in HK. If we visit the website, we can request some
greeting cards free, one of the card is a 16 y/o MK in her first DOD costume
doing a spiral, her card is a happy N.Y. card .

So I requested that, and it took a good 2 months for that to arrive.
Christmas 99 when I sent a package to MK, I enclosed this card with
a return addressed envelop asking her to autograph the card for me.

I finally got it in the mail today. She wrote to my name love Michelle Kwan
with the usual heart shape thing over the i. Mano I kept looking at the
signature, it looks like Kwan, not Kariya, and no Paul. :lol

I so appreciate MK taking time for her fans. I think we ought to have 2
special projects for her each year, the Diane CMN bday project in July, and a
special Christmas project e.g. donation to usfsa memorial fund in honor of
Michelle. What do you think. This is way off topic for beefer land, but
I prefer to share this here among beefers.

mano

my work as a crutch of sorts because that means I don't have to write stories...which is weird 'cause I'm miserable if I don't write any...but sometimes I feel like I'm in a rut and am afraid to even attempt starting another story or finishing up old ones.

BTW, skatingfan, congrats on your Michelle autograph. You didn't sign it as "skatingfan" did you? Which reminds me, I still have to write a thank you card to her...should I send it to Lake Arrowhead or El Segundo (if I ever get around to writing it, that is). The CMN thing, I think Diane sent that to the Michigan one.

Oh, and skatingfan, why does your sentences skip spaces in your post? It gets a bit hard to read. Oh and I learned a lot in your Psychology lesson at FSW. THAT was good. You go girl!!! Oh, and do you want to be emailed or ICQed by any of us? Just wondering...

skatingfan
September 1st, 2000, 08:13 PM
She wrote my real name, not skatingfan

Mano, please write a story. You are the one who writes those
romantic stuff, you know the feeling kind of stories.

My message looks weird, I know, but I have no way of
explaining.

I am still so computer iliterate, I have never chat real time
before.

High Priestess, where are you, your old buddy posted at
cbs sportslineand said that you are mean to him
. ;) (for real)

Lake Arrowhead or El Segundo address? Mano, if you
want to be absolutely sure write to both. I sent duplicate
cds for her bday this year to both address. But then
just look at my custom title, I am an obsessor of
Korngold violin concerto for our angel.

mano
September 1st, 2000, 10:59 PM
I'm wondering if when you type your message, do you press "enter" or do you just let it flow (as in type continuously without worrying about pressing enter)? The EZBoard thing sort of formats it for you so that you don't have to press enter unless you want to have a space between paragraphs or something. What you just typed looks good though.

BTW, everybody was computer illiterate at one point or another so don't worry. All a matter of trial and error (mostly error on my part). If it makes you happy any, PK said he doesn't even have a computer in his house so you're one up on him. ;) ;) ;)

As for the chatting, best to download ICQ at www.icq.com/download/. (http://www.icq.com/download/.) They have instructions there on what to do. Tell us when you get it either by posting your ICQ number here or something. Or I can post mine if you wish.

As for the stories, I'll do my best. I'm done with the O/T and projects at work so maybe I'll have more time (Yippee!!!). I still have to devote my weekends to painting the house in NJ and moving there eventually. But I will make time for BFFF and MKF. Speaking of which...isn't Chemy due for a pic or something? She's had MK at the Cell premiere pic as well as all those PK pics from Kariya's Korner to experiment with...

Just checked my mail box, got a 8 X 10 color photo of MK in her Mulan
soldier uniform with Candeloro, and Weiss. LOL Candeloro is fully clothed
and Weiss is 1/4 naked. She just signed her name with the little heart.
She did not put my name on it. For a split second I thought since my
name is not on it, maybe I can send it to you know who. But nah..,
no way, I love our angel's smiles, besides you know who may be too
jealous of Phillippe and Michael. The postage is from MI, sheps

Congratulations on getting your pictures. Maybe if you included a picture of Philippe and Michael with their families so there won't be any jealousy.

I did not know that you post or used to post at cbs sportsline. I was just lurking there, and an old thread about "who got your interested in f.s." is resurrected, and I saw one of your message from 1998.

Yeah, I don't go very often anymore. It's too hard for my computer to log in, plus I really don't have much to contribute since most of the conversations there have taken a more "domestic" turn since I first joined in 1998. Plus, I think if the two "pod hunters" get their way, the figure skating board will be no more pretty soon.

High Priestess, where are you, your old buddy posted at cbs sportslineand said that you are mean to him. (for real)

Oh yeah, they have history. LOL Mostly in the archives. You have to be registered and logged in to read them though. Maybe it's theraputic for him to tell the others about things that are posted at MKF. (coughmichellepracticethreadcough)

I don't want to say too much, since I don't know who is reading.

I fall absolutely in love with the MK Mulan soldier picture, hard
to send it to you know who now. "Sniff, our little girl is all
grown up and saving China". Mk looks adorable in it, if I can
get hold of a scanner I will scan it . Maybe Chemy can
do some magic with it. BTW, when I scan it, I
just need to send it to someone with a email? I have magenta's
email.

The other reason I want to keep the pic is someday when I am poor,
I may want to cut out the phillipe pic and auction it in ebay Rare item
Candeloro with clothes on.

I belong to cbs club tiger, but I think even w/o cbs membership
one can still lurk over there. I did that b/c of coughmichellecoughreports.

Nothing boils my blood like someone posting irresponsible rink rumor
about 6.0 and her father or any skaters all over the net, then cough,
sneeze, turned around and said how one should repsect her privacy.
Worse, since there are daily trips made to the ice temple where our
angel practices every thing about our angel, whether she coughs or
sneezes, waves hi to little girls or not is being noticed. Things will
be OK pleasant until someone perceives and read some imaginary
slight into newspaper articles against his idol. All that rink rumor
report was precipitated by C.B. praising 6.0's parents for doing such
a nice job, his idol and or her parents were not even mentioned
in that article.

Anyhoo, Stu where are you, we have a job for you.

I just moved so you don't have to worry about me going anywhere for along time. Still unpacking... I'd be happy to meet you at HealthSouth when you're able to. This invitation extends to all ya bfffrs. :) OH, 1 condition, that you give me advance notice so I can juggle my schedule. You know I've been a fan of MK but only a casual following her, but you bfffrs are turning me into an addict. You think the High Priestess has cast her omnipotent power and turned me into a subject or something....

Skatingfan: I got a feeling you or another bfffers would eventually hint at a story. I'm probably better as a field reporter than a creative writer. Unfortunately, my genetic make-up doesn't include creative writing, only business writing. You, Mano, and the rest of the bfffers has all the creativity in this area. I'll look into ordering some creative writing genes. Outside of ICQ, do any of you use any other venues for private communications? I'd really like to know.

BTW, saw MK and Mother at a grocery store. Respecting their privacy, I did not and would not attempt at any contact. However, was glad to see that she looked healthy, not skinny like she was last season. It always concerns me when an athlete looks too gaunt.

hope your toe is feeling better. I promise to finish up the "Ray" story for you this weekend. Hope that helps any. Actually, I'm going to start working on Ice Age again and be more involved in BFFF. This summer has been like the drought season of BFFF...wait, did we write a lot of stories and have a lot of spliced pics last summer?

Okay, since my teleportation machine is in the shop and my flying powers have been non-existent lately due to my cape being in the cleaners, can anybody stop by Disney Ice to watch the Ducks during Training camp? Here's the particulars:

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The National Hockey League's (NHL) Mighty Ducks of Anaheim will have their first day on the ice for 2000 Training Camp on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Disney ICE (300 W. Lincoln Ave. in Anaheim), beginning at 10:00 a.m. The first week of training camp at Disney ICE (through Friday, Sept. 15) is open to the public from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and again from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. There will be no practice at Disney ICE on Tuesday, Sept. 12, due to the Mighty Ducks First Flight Intersquad Game at the Arrowhead Pond (a scrimmage for local area schools).

Would love to see how Paul is doing these days. It's like he made like a Ninja and disappeared. What's up with that? At least we all know that Michelle is healthy and looking beautiful as ever (not that Paul ever noticed, the bum) so it would be nice to find out if he changed any.

Oh and weird wild stuff. The Ducks are thinking of hiring Neil Smith, former general manager of the Rangers, to be VP of Hockey Operations or something to replace Ferreira who just left for the Thrashers. Funny thing is, when I temped for a couple of weeks as receptionist over at MSG in '97, I had to buzz him in, but sometimes the buttons didn't respond well so he would be staring through the glass doors with a "hello, VIP here, let me in now!" And I'd give a "use your access card to get in, you lazy bum!" look. Nah, I had to apologize for the inconvenience instead. Good thing that was only for a couple of weeks else I'd really show my true colors. Wow, if he gets hired I can actually say that in a way I have a connection of sorts with the Ducks Org. How scary is that?

September 9th, 2000, 07:53 AM
Time flies, the summer is gone. 6.0 is training hard, looking fit
and feeling like she is on top of the world. She likes Ice Temple,
it is just a few minutes away from her condo. Her best rink friend
3X4 lives close by too, sometimes they car pool to Ice Temple.
She enjoys meeting some of her fans at the Ice Temple, that
Acoma lady is so nice, and 6.0 is happy that she can tell
all her fans c/o Acoma how much she loves the earrings. :)

6.0 is also realistic enough to know that not everyone who
watches her practice are her fans, or have her best interest
in mind, fortunately there is only one of those who visits her
rink almost daily. 008 told her she just have to outshine these people.

One day last week Ron the great said he had a
surprise for her. He has roundtrip air, accomodation
and tickets to Sydney. Ahh......................................,
Ron the Great and Mk are going to be the ambassadors of
good will, head cheer leaders from the Kwan family to
Mr. Summer Olympics. 6.0 loves the idea, she really
wants to spend time with her most favorite hockey player in
the world, her brother. She will only attend a few events, including
Mr. Seatle's, Mk has a heavy competition schedule back home.

There is one more thing to do before flying off to Sydney,
the opening ceremony of the free health clinic, it is
affiliated to L.A. Children's Hospital. Dr. Phil made a huge
donation in terms of time and effort and money
to this project. MK wants to be there and thank him.

On her way to the clinic, 6.0 was joking with her brother, they were
laughing and just having a great time when all of a sudden, they
ran into another car in a 4 way stop. It happened so fast that
they did not know who hit who. There were 4 people in the other
car. The driver got out and approached 6.0,
"So sorry, are you all right?"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

His personal assistants told him to go back to FL, just let some
lower level people handle this free clinic thing. G.P. thought differently,
he really wanted to go and see for himself, not because Dr. Phil
and family are huge contributors to his uncle's campaign, because
G.P. wanted to know more about health care to the underserved.
As he was approaching a 4 way stop, he saw the most beautiful
girl in the world driving a Chevy on the opposite side of the road,
he lost concentration for a second and crashed.......
-------------------------------------------------------

6.0 was not hurt physically, but her pride,b/c her brother has been
teasing her about her driving, and now out of no where someone hit her?
It happened so fast, she was unsure who was at fault.
There was minimal damage to her car, MK wanted to move on.
Then something in GP's eyes caught her attention, at the same time
an internal alarm went off, she sensed a bit of danger....

-----------------------------------------------------
GP, " Are you all right, did I scared you?"
6.0, " I am OK, there is not much damage, I am
kind of busy, so if you are all right, I just want to
move on."
GP thought, not so fast, not until I get her name,
and besides this girl is different, usually girls want
to hang around him, and this one is politely dismissing him.
GP, took a chance, he was actually at fault
" But we have to exhange insurance information,
or call the police, there is an accident here."
His assistants were really anxious, they knew GP hit her car,
and they did not need any headlines in the news.
Assistant #1, "Boss, we really need to go."
6.0 thought, boss, what kind of a boss, then she childed
herself, she shouldn't think about this (handsome) guy, she
needed to go to the clinic, " I am really in a hurry, I can't see any
reason why we can't let our insurance company take care of it."
GP with a charming smile, " All right then, may I at least
have your name and your insurance company.
BTW, my name is Geoerge Bush."
6.0 felt a bit annoyed at herself because she couldn't help
responding to his smile and smiled back, " Yeah, you
are Bush, like George Bush, my name is Forrest, as in
Forrest Gump."

Hockey is upon us. They actually have news on LA Times and OC Register on Paul Kariya et al. How cool is that. I better start a Hockey thread at Random chat. Anywho, just posting the article from OCRegister and you guys make of it what you will.

www.ocregister.com/sports...9cci.shtml (http://www.ocregister.com/sports/ducks00909cci.shtml)

Some excerpts, italics mine:

In order to assure himself of being ready for training camp, Kariya scaled back his grueling offseason workouts. He even took a couple of pleasure trips, visiting Maui (suggested by Michelle Kwan) and Palm Springs.

"The main thing I did this summer was when I was tired or felt fatigued, normally I would have tried pushing it," Kariya said. "Normally, I work out six days a week, but if I wasn't feeling good or if I felt a little tightness in my muscles, I took the weekend off...( and went to Lake Arrowhead)."

Oh, it feels good to hear from this guy again.

Skatingfan, what's this, adding more and more guys to the list? Whatever happened to the mantra "Paul for Kwan and Kwan for Paul???" There can be only one. You all goin' to make me lose my mind, up in here, up in here...

Who is the main writer for BFFF?
Who has been lazy about her job?

Now we have been begging for months for a PK/MK story from you,
and what do we get, excuses excuses and more excuses.

I don't think any guys have been added, still the same bunch.

My purpose of this is not to make you lose your mind, just
my way of keep mine. Sometimes I use BFFF to work out
my aggression towards e.g. Shep's assistant etc.

BTW, everyone read from BOI that 3X4 is taking a semester off,
he will attend some private college, i.e. not UCLA. He lives
10 minutes away from HealthSouth, I wonder if he is MK's neighbor.

ROTFL! You told Mano! Mano probably passed out when she saw GP's name. Hehehe... I'm wiping tears just by imagining Mano's rising blood pressure. Cute story. The high preistess says it deserves a second chapter. How about it? Thanks for making my day! :lol

two can play in this George P. game.

George P. Bush was quickly wearying of the press. He just wanted to help his uncle George W. win the elections this coming November, but everybody wanted him to be a cover model instead. There's more to him than his looks, he would announce to all these editors who would call. People magazine had already got him to do a spread, but that's all he's going to fit in his busy schedule now. They've pegged him as the George Clooney of the Bush family and have made him heir apparent to the JKF Jr. mantle of political hunkdom. He wasn't buying it. Now he's hearing rumors that has him attached to figure skater Michelle Kwan. She's a beauty, but knows very well that she's also very taken by Hockey star of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Paul Kariya. They've not told anybody, yet, but being a son of the Gov. of Florida, a nephew of the Gov. of Texas and grandson of a former President, he was able to get the inside scoop through the CIA. It was one of the perks of being a part of the Bush dynasty.

The funny thing is, he wasn't even looking. He was too busy preparing to study Law in Texas and having a girlfriend was definitely not in the plans at the moment. His last relationship left a bitter taste in his mouth and right now, being a bachelor sounds like an excellent idea. He shook his head to shake the memories from his head and stood up from the couch. He walked out to the balcony of the hotel he was staying at. He was bored waiting for the reporter to come. The reporter was writing a piece about the next generation of political families. He was going to be interviewed with another politician's progeny, possibly somebody from Gore's family he guessed, the reporter didn't say. All of a sudden, he heard a knock on the door. Must be the reporter.

George P. slowly walked towards the door. He figured that since the guy kept him waiting, he might as well keep him waiting too. He finally got to the door and opened it with a flourish. He was clearly surprised to see a blond curly mane of a lady instead. The lady turned around and said, "Hi, I'm Chelsea, I'm here for the interview with Mr. T.B.Loid? Am I in the right room?"

"Chelsea? Chelsea Clinton?" asked a stunned George P.
"Why yes, you're...George P. Bush right?" Chelsea shyly asked.
"Yes, yes, at your service. Come in, come in. I'm afraid Mr. Loid hasn't arrived yet. Make yourself at home." George, always a gentleman, said.
"Thanks."

Chelsea entered the suite and sat on the couch. George was still at the door pondering the sudden turn of events. A political enemy was in his midst in the form of a Democrat and the daughter of his grandfather's nemesis, Bill Clinton. She's grown to quite a lady. He still remembered how the press hadn't been kind to her when she was younger. He was was shocked to realize that he was impressed by her. He knows that she's been through a lot especially with her parents' marital dirty laundry aired in the open for the world to see. But she was coming to her own in the midst of those trials. He was really impressed. His uncle's not going to be happy 'cause he might be falling for her. Well, it's not unheard of for a Republican and Democrat to have a successful union. Look at Arnold the Terminator and Maria Shriver.

Chelsea was very nervous. She knows she shouldn't be, but couldn't help it. He's a Bush, she's a Clinton and she's going out with an intern right now. It will never work out. But here she was in the room alone with him until the reporter comes. Her mother is not going to like this...she's just fallen for George P. And they said there was no such thing as love at first sight, HA! Where in the world is that reporter. Oh no, George P. is coming towards her now, what's he doing...he's going down on one knee and...

"Chelsea, will you do me the honor of becoming my lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, for richer and for poorer, in sickness and in health, yada, yada, yada???"

"I do, Georgie Poo, oh I do." Chelsea answered

"I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss your bride." Said Mr. T.B.Loid. The couple did and they lived happily ever after, the end.

***
"Michelle."
"Michelle."

She heard her name twice and felt somebody nudge her awake. She opened her eyes and looked into the eyes of her soul mate and husband, Paul Kariya.

"What is it?" Michelle asked sleepily.
"You were laughing in your sleep, I was concerned." Paul told his lovely wife.
"Oh, that. Just had a funny dream about George P. Bush getting hitched to Chelsea Clinton, it was hilarious." Michelle said with a smile.
"I see. Next time, my love, no more midnight snacks." A laughing Paul Kariya said sweetly to his wife before he kissed her good night and turned off the lights. Now that's the real end. ;) ;) ;)

Chelsea, and GP, Ah...., Gore' s daughter and GP more of a match.

Mano is so jealous on behalf of PK. ;)

Mano you actually need to keep up more with PK and his flavor of
the month. At least I took care of the red head situation a few weeks
ago, and you were MIA.

Now that Mano is back in true form, I will just kick back and relax.

me as a politician??? Yikes, whole world beware. What did Machiavelli say, "power corrupts but absolute power corrupts absolutely" or something to that effect? Okay, I did say I was going to finish it, but I didn't say I was going to post it, there's a difference. ;) ;) ;) Blame it on the Emmys, I got stuck watching all the hoopla. Try me again later. BTW, what song got stuck in your head this time?

Littlepebbles, get this, I told you I had to get off ICQ early 'cause I had to get to work early. Ask me what time I actually fell asleep? Yep, 4:30 AM, 'cause I couldn't sleep at all. I should have just stayed up and posted a story as well as ICQ, but no. I'm such an imsoniac these days it isn't funny.

Since nobody at BFFF seems to want to visit the Pond, I'm glad that Hockeylander of Kariya's Korner is doing the honors. Here's a report from 09/09 and 09/11 respectively.

and go figure you were the one who got it, LOL!!! Who'da thunk you'd know DMX. It's a funny song, or at least that line fits my head...along with Insane in the Brain (Insane in the membrane) by Cypress Hill. That's an old song so that shouldn't get stuck on anybody's head. Maybe we should add these to Michelle's "branching out" list for Mr. Button. She could always wear a costume made out of cannabis. Sheesh, don't mind me, work does this to me. Oh, and I started a Hockey thread.

That DMX song seems to be my theme song lately. A Bush and a Clinton or Gore? What a headline that would be.

Since the Raymond story hasn't been posted yet, I'll post my 1 sentence summary of the story.

"Paul saw Raymond flirting with Michelle, he punched Raymond's lights out, then carried Michelle off into the sunset."

The End

(Any non-PK guy's name can be filled in, BTW.)

Sequel:
"Paul felt a little guilty for punching Raymond so he gave Raymond an old handkerchief to wipe up the blood."

"Ray of Light"

Teemu Selanne was back in California after a much-needed trip with his family to his homeland of Finland where he was able to visit his parents as well as tie up a few loose ends. He was catching up with messages in his Athletes Direct site and seeing what he can do to add to his personal web page for his fans. Out of pure curiosity, he decided to go surfing to another site that he and his teammates have come to visit from time to time just to see what Paul's fictional self was doing to Michelle Kwan at the Fan Fiction area. The Michelle Kwan Forum site finishes loading and he smiles at the banner with Michelle holding her well deserved '00 Worlds Gold medal. "Should have happened last year at my hometown too," Teemu said softly to himself. "It's all Paul's fault for passing the cold he got from Rooch to Michelle."

He browses through a few of the Fan Chat messages, before heading off to Fan Fiction and BFFF. Might as well keep Paul informed about what his fictional self was up to now, since he's not much of a computer freak…which is pretty funny considering he's a Star Wars geek. He goes through the new messages, laughs at Paul being in his birthday suit and shakes his head at the rest of the messages of Michelles die-hard, devoted, and hopelessly romantic fans. Then one word, or rather name, caught his eye. Raymond. He wasn't bothered by George P. Bush since the poster Yingshan was just using that to annoy the poster, mano, to no end. He didn't bat an eye regarding the Kings training at HealthSouth since Stu was going to be there to watch over Michelle for Paul. Any Queen try to mess with her will have to answer to the Grim Reaper. What got him was the fact that the new poster's dream may be a premonition of things to come regarding Michelle's love life. Worth noting since the poster, acoma, also had a premonition about Michelle during the 1998 Olympics…he wasn't superstitious but might as well give Paul a call and let him figure out what to do.

Meanwhile…Paul Kariya was perturbed at the message he just read. Having browsed the Michelle Kwan Forum to get ideas for his next date, he saw that somebody had a dream or rather a premonition about Michelle and who her potential mate would be. "Raymond??? Who in tarnation is that? A college kid with Asian features?" He was still pondering this tidbit he read when his phone rang.

"Hello?" Paul answered.
"Paul, good I got you. Are you at your computer?"
"Yes, why?" Paul asked, although he already had an idea what Teemu might say.
"Good, then visit your girl's forum and see the new guy they have for her now." Teemu said hurriedly.
"You mean Raymond?" Paul said calmly.
"Yeah, how did you know? Oh, you're online now I guess. So what are you going to do?" Teemu asked.
"Nothing…it's only a dream, how real can it be?" Paul said.
"But the Olympics???" Teemu said worriedly.
"Lots of people get dreams like that, doesn't mean they all come true. Now if the poster had a premonition about me getting that concussion too, then I'd start to worry." Paul said. "Well…at least do something…if you suddenly find yourself without Michelle, don't say I didn't warn you." Teemu said before hanging up.

Paul just shook his head and put his attention back to the forum. Nothing new to report except that he was found to be cleaning his backyard and that he and Michelle have a daughter together. He laughed out loud…he would have had more children with her. He shut down his computer and decided to go out and play a round of golf to clear his head. Then he'll give Michelle a call later. She was spending the day shopping with Karen so she wouldn't be home right now. No worries, she was safe and sound with her sister.

Meanwhile…at the Bat Cave…just kidding. Some of Paul's teammates were up to no good. Hey it's summer and it's a long way before training camp starts for the Ducks so they needed to use up their energy somehow. Thus, partners in crime Matt Cullen and Pascal Trepanier decided to do some web surfing themselves to get ideas. Jeff Neilsen would have been there but he was too busy moving now since he was picked up by the Minnesota Wild (I think) for next season and was no longer a Duck. (sniff). They figured they'd get a good laugh at the Captain's expense so off to MK Forum they went. With Stu out of the way, they're off the hook. The new chapter was up and they were getting ideas on what to do…this Raymond guy was a possibility, hmnnn…

TBC!!!

(Yes it has to do with my fave excuse, work). Anywho, check out these pics of PK from the Yahoo club. It was taken by jmlvptk:

clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/aya...abel=alb18 (http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/ayazspaulkariyaplace?gc&.alabel=alb18)

Looks to me like Paul got himself a little bit of color and, for someone who said he didn't work out much this summer, he looks pumped up. Maybe it's the shirt. The fan should have asked him to take his shirt off so we can compare his abs from '96 to now. I'm curious, mayhap his six pack got even more defined. We need to update our pic...maybe he'll shoot another 50 goals and they'll take another half neked pic of him again. I mean, we have MK's current abs pic so it's only fair. The pics were taken on the first day of camp, when they all said he was in a good mood and was a totally different person. There is something different about him. He still needs to add another comfort level in his interaction with fans though. Needs to take more notes from Michelle. Not bad though. He still looks best in black. I'd love to see this guy in black leather someday and shake his bon bon, shake his bon bon, shake his bon bon!!!

Details, details, details, and Mano is keeping this from us. What do I think fiction or for real? I think 3 possibilities: 1. He really has a gf. 2. He is just saying that to deal with a female fan, but that will be lying. and 3. His gf is MK. My fan fiction self will say #3, my self outside of fan fiction will say #1. No problem, BFFF is not MK/PK fan fiction, if #1 is true, we can still have fan fiction b/c MK is still available. ( No if Barang has anything to say about it), as long as MK is available, we can write stories. :)

Sharon
September 18th, 2000, 02:08 PM

Quote:
No problem, BFFF is not MK/PK fan fiction, if #1 is true, we can still have fan fiction b/c MK is still available.

Speak for yourself skatingfan!!! Sharon's right, I'd have to dump my stories...h*ck, I'd have to dump my head for that matter. But then again, it's fiction because deep down inside we have a sinking feeling that PK and MK never hit if off and are just bound by Disney contracts and that's it. I have to stop depressing meself.

Sheesh, I'm leaning towards #2...or #3 sounds fine too. If I was the girl, I'd be like "Oh, is she a skater, and is her name Michelle Kwan?"

Eilaram, thanks for finding that out. You forgot to mention the part where the poster also said, "You know he has really hairy legs and that makes me think he'll lose his hair when he gets older ;) " ROTFLOL. Hey, can anybody back that thing up? He doesn't look like the hairy leg type to me, especially with his Asian blood...his arms don't look hairy. I mean, now if you see him and you think "Planet of the Apes" revisited, then he'd have a problem. Worse comes to worse, I'll give him Nads for his birthday when he comes to NYC. ;) ;) ;)

BTW, was does baldness have to do with hairy legs??? Somebody clue me in.

Oh, and the Ducks finally win a pre-season game 3-0. But it was against the expansion team, Minnesota Wild, so make of it what you will. PK didn't score a goal nor an assist so technically...he hasn't scored either in Hockey nor with MK. ;) ;) ;) Just kidding, he just needs to score a goal in the upcoming games to restore our faith in his scoring prowess. Ok, didn't lose faith...but one goal would be nice...2 even better...50 = another PK pic in the buff. They're facing the Kings this Friday...wonder if MK will be there. Doubt it though 'cause she'll probably be at Lake Arrowhead.

Based on picture from the following link.
news.excite.com/photo/img...923/lab06d (http://news.excite.com/photo/img/r/premiere/20000923/lab06d)

September 23, 2000

Michelle was going through her closet looking for something to wear. She didn’t want to go all black and she wasn’t feeling snakeskin either. Karen was shouting for her to hurry up or else they’d be late for the premiere of “Remember the Titans” starring Denzel Washington. It was going to be at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and they didn’t want to get stuck in the middle of a traffic jam, especially with the transit strike still in effect. The phone rings while she was trying to get into a pair of jeans and almost fell off-balance trying to grab the cordless phone. The ringing stopped at three and she thought she missed the call.

“Drat!”
“Michelle!!!” Karen shouted from another room in her townhouse.
“What?” Michelle replied.
“It’s for you and I bet you already know who it is.” Karen shouted back.

Michelle hopped to the phone, still struggling with her jeans. She answered it and plopped on top of her bed.

“Paul? Where are you?” Michelle asked.
“In the limo, I’m on my way to the stadium. Are you guys ready?” Paul replied.
“Yeah, in a minute…just figuring out what to wear. There will be cameras as usual and right now my head is spinning ‘cause nothing I put on is making sense.”
“Michelle, you look beautiful in anything.”
“You’re just saying that to score some brownie points?”
“Is it working?”
“Paul!”
“But what I was really trying to say is you look best au natural?”
“PAUL behave!!! Save that for when you’re actually married.” Karen shouted.
“Karen?” Both Paul and Michelle said simultaneously.
“Yes, I apologize for cutting short your lovefest, but we’re going to be late so better bid your adieus and I love yous.” Karen pronounced before hanging up the receiver.

Michelle and Paul just were quiet for a few seconds before they both did as they were told and said their loving good-byes over the phone and hang up. Michelle lay on her bed for a few minutes just thinking. Then she slapped her forehead and declared, “I still have nothing to wear.”

“Just wear anything! We have to go.” Karen shouted.
“I’m going to get you for listening in on us Karen!” Michelle shouted back.
“You’ll thank me later. Now let’s go.”

Michelle looked down on her jeans and her brown knit tank top. She wasn’t satisfied. She needed something else. Her eyes settled on her red leather pants. She had bought them for the main reason that it reminded her of his Red Lexus. Paul had taken one look and said she better only wear it in his presence. Well, he was going to be there…along with thousands of people watching the premiere, but that’s beside the point. She removed her jeans and put on her red leather pants, then looked at the mirror. Looks good. She put on some lipstick and just brushed her hair out. Before she left, she put on her earrings, two bracelets and her watch. Something is still missing she thought. She snapped her fingers and went to her jewelry box. She removed a platinum ring with a 2-carat solitaire diamond. People always ask her if it’s an engagement ring, but she just laughs them off with a resounding no. It’s only a promise ring Paul gave but that is something they are keeping to themselves until they are good and ready to tell the world. She put it on, grabbed her black and white bag and ran to meet a waiting Karen by the door.

mano
September 25th, 2000, 01:41 AM
at her and was about to say something but stopped at Michelle’s “don’t you dare say anything” look. She kept her mouth shut and smiled. Least they weren’t going to be late. They got on the waiting limo and left for Pasadena with not a minute to spare. The drive wasn’t so bad, not much traffic so that was good. There was still time to spare. There were a lot of people gathering at the Rose Bowl though and Michelle was suddenly getting worried they won’t find Paul in the crowd. Karen took one look and understood. She was already missing Peter. He couldn’t make it ‘cause he was up coaching up in Lake Arrowhead. She sighed. She was chaperone tonight for Paul and Michelle, whoopee. Well at least she gets to see Denzel Washington and other stars slated to attend the premiere. She was having a fun summer though. This will be the third premiere that she and Michelle attended this year and it was a treat to get to meet all the celebrities along the way. Because of the size of this premiere though, Paul finally decided to make an appearance too. They’ve managed to keep their relationship secret despite the intense scrutiny of both the press and their fans, but somehow, Michelle and Paul were able to do it. Michelle is supposed to meet Paul inside once all the photographers have come and gone. The limo finally came to a stop by the red carpet and the door was opened for them. Michelle was about to go out when Karen stopped her.

“What?” Michelle asked a little worried.
“Your ring?” Karen whispered.
“What about my ring?” Michelle asked, but then realized what Karen meant when she looked down. Her promise ring, which she usually placed on her right ring finger, was sitting comfortably on her LEFT ring finger. She was about to take it off and put it on her right ring finger when the valet reached in to take her hand and help her out of the limo. She sighed and stepped onto the red carpet. Karen just shook her head and smiled. Michelle usually wore the ring on her left ring finger when she’s at home or with Paul, but was careful to put it on the right hand when she went anywhere else. Her head must have been in the clouds after speaking with Paul earlier that she forgot.

Michelle was a little worried, she knew that she had to smile and wave to the crowd, but she had to make sure that nobody notices the ring on her finger. It’s going to be hard to explain if the photographers take a picture of her with her ring proudly showing on her left ring finger. She had to do something quick. So while smiling, she pretended to fidget with the straps of her bag as she waited for Karen. Then as Karen stepped out and the crowd briefly diverted, she surreptitiously removed the ring from her ring finger, but quickly had to slip it onto her left middle finger. The ring was a little big snug on her middle finger and didn’t go all the way in, but it would have to do until they get past the media. She had no choice in the matter because Karen was already out and they both had to walk down the carpet with Karen going ahead of her. She smiled brightly and waved at the crowd and photographers. Both finally reached the entrance of the Rose bowl and Michelle breathes a sigh of relief. Now all they have to do is find Paul and she’s home free.

Paul was waiting patiently inside the stadium on their designated seat. Shep got the tickets for all of them in the VIP section. He wasn’t worried about being recognized since there were too many people around who probably followed football more than hockey. That was fine with him. He just wanted to spend the evening with her. These days spent with her are getting few and far between because both hockey season and skating season were about to start and she also has to juggle that with school. Michelle had watched the game yesterday at Arrowhead Pond, but she stayed in the skybox away from the crowd. She wanted to be closer to the game and sit among the crowds, but they both realize that in order for them to keep their relationship from the prying eyes of the press, they have to do all the can to make sure that nothing is going on. Thus she had to come early, hours before the game starts, and leave just before the game ends to make sure she doesn’t bump into any of his “puck bunnies” or “groupies”. They meet after at a secret location and go out or just spend some time together. They had won against the Kings yesterday and he scored a goal for Michelle. It wasn’t pretty, but he scored. ;)

about yesterday’s happenings when a flash of red caught his eye. He turned and saw Michelle. His jaw dropped, he was speechless. She does that to him a lot. He heard the guys around him whistle and knew that was meant for his woman. He saw red and wanted to punch the all the guys’ lights out. Michelle noticed Paul’s expression and hurried to her seat next to him. She put her left hand on his jaw and turned his head to face her and smiled. Paul’s expression changed from anger to gentleness. He then noticed something gleaming on her left hand. He took her hand from his face then looked at her slim fingers. He smiled crookedly at the sight of the ring he gave her fit snugly on her middle finger. He made a questioning look and Michelle shrugged her shoulders and said, “it’s a long story.”

He was about to say something else but was cut short when he heard the emcee announce that the athletes invited join Denzel Washington on stage prior to the screening. Michelle grabbed Paul's hand to take her with him, but he declined, preferring the anonymity of the moment. Michelle understood. Soon she was up on the stage feeling a little out of place between football greats such as Mike Singleterry of the Chicago Bears, Franco Harris of the Pittsburg Steelers and others. She was a little awestruck by her company, as they were by her. She didn't realize what a stunning figure she made up on that stage for someone so petite, Paul thought proudly. Pretty soon, Denzel made his rousing speech to pump up the crowd. Then it was over and Michelle sighed in relief, glad to be back next to Paul and Karen just as they announced the start of the movie.

The lights became dim and the movie started. Just as everyone in the stadium gave their attention on the big screen, Paul never took his eyes away from Michelle. He still held her left hand gently in his grasp, feeling the ring he gave her, knowing it wasn’t in the right place. Michelle knew it too. She turned her head to face him and nodded. No words were needed between them. He gently removed the ring from her middle finger, then slipped it onto its proper resting-place. Her left ring finger.

“With this ring, I thee wed,” he whispered with a smile.
“Oh, Paul, I…” Michelle said as their faces were about to meet for a kiss to seal their unspoken vows.
“Popcorn?” Karen said, reaching over and perfectly placing the bag between their faces.

Both Paul and Michelle settled back on their seats in frustration. Karen smiled and said, “this is a really great movie, guys, practice that later…much later…as in after my wedding later…as in maybe one or two years later…”

“We get the picture!” Both Michelle and Paul said a little loudly, prompting a chorus of “shhhhhs” in their direction. Both sunk down on their seats wishing they were elsewhere, but watched the movie in silence. Karen smiled and continued eating the popcorn. Job well done, thought their chaperone. After the movie was over, the trio took their leave. They gave their quick congratulations to Denzel Washington and company before heading out and making a clean getaway. They all could have gone to the after party, but had to skip it because Paul had a game on Sunday against the Sharks, Michelle had to practice then go to the game after and Karen had to go to Lake Arrowhead to meet Peter. So they said good-byes and Michelle and Karen got into their limo and Paul got into his and drove away. A few blocks later, both limos stopped and Michelle got off and into the limo where Paul was waiting. Karen looked at them both from the window and told them sternly to behave or else. Michelle and Paul both nodded. Both limos went their separate ways. Karen shook her head, knowing her warning probably fell on deaf ears. She looked behind her and stared at the other limo. It was rocking. She panicked and immediately called Michelle’s cell phone.

Paul and Michelle heard the phone and collapsed into laughter. They were busy bouncing up and down their seats to give the limo the appearance that they were not as behaved as Karen wanted them to be. Michelle answered the phone with a shaky “hello” her voice still tinged with laughter.

“Michelle!!! You and Paul better not be doing what I think you’re doing or you’ll never hear the end of it from dad.” Karen shouted. Then she heard the laughter in the background and realized they were only playing. Karen patiently waited for Michelle to settle down. When Michelle was composed, she spoke to Karen again, assuring her that they were just giving her a taste of her own medicine. Karen understood, but wanted to speak to Paul to give him an earful before telling him to behave again. Paul listened quietly, a smile on his face, then gave the phone back to Michelle. She told Karen not to worry since they were just going to have dinner at a nearby restaurant before Paul drops her off at home at the appointed time. Satisfied, Karen said her good-byes then hung up. This time, Paul and Michelle collapsed into each other’s arms for a long awaited kiss. They separated a few minutes later and just held each other close, whispering sweet nothings to each other. Later on Michelle noticed something on Paul that she couldn’t believe she missed earlier.

“Nice pants.” She said with a beaming smile.
“Thanks, I knew you’d like it.” Paul said as he stretched out his legs clad in black leather before continuing, “I confess I don’t look as good as you, but then again, I didn’t pour myself into my pants like you did. Don’t you realize how tempting you look in that?”
Michelle smiled sweetly and said, “thanks, I knew you’d like it.”

Then gave him a kiss for extra measure and for looking so gosh darn cute in them black leather pants.
The End.
(Now that was wishful thinking on mano’s part as usual.)

except eilaram. Okay, so I was supposed to finish off the other one, but I seem to be stuck there or something. Maybe in the next chapter? Hey at least I wrote something and something is better than nada. AND I got PK to wear leather pants. I doubt he'd ever wear one in his lifetime though, just not too adventurous, that.

BTW, found this on eBAY. Check out the signature. It doesn't look too much like his usual or the one that eilaram got...but it looks like it says MK, hehehe. There's a candid pic of him there too. BTW, I don't get how people sell these personal ones, I mean aren't they supposed to be something you keep to cherish for the rest of your life or something? Well anywho, take a gander:

BTW, anybody else planning to send something to MK or PK? Don't ask me though 'cause I still owe Michelle a Thank you card and the possibility of me sending anything to the Ducks is zero to nil. I've no guts.

BTW anyone planning to send something to Mk or Pk, what is the occasion. Every Chrsitmas and Bday time I send something to Michelle. Although this Christmas, I may just send a card to her and contribute to usfsa memorial fund in honor of Michelle instead, run out of gift ideas. About PK, unless he marries MK, he is not at the top of my list yet. I haven't even send Tiger anything, So Paul if you are reading, marry Michelle, and there will be a huge Christmas gift send to you ;)

LOL I get the picture, eilaram. Hopefully, your classes are going well for you. Otherwise, I'll write your profs to take it easy on you so that I don't get stressed when you'RE stressed. ;)

Skatingfan, do you actually write a long letter with the card or just send it as "To Michelle, happy whatever, from skatingfan" kind of deal?

By the way, I have on VERY reliable source that Karen is NOT engaged, to Peter or anybody else. This info is from the Kwans, through my source.

Mano wrote a story! Mano wrote a story! Pull out the headline! Mano wrote a story! Darn, I guess that means I have to pay you now. But where did you see a ring? I don't see anything. You seem to see rings everywhere. :)

I accept checks, money order, COD's, Visa, Discover, American Express, and Mastercard. LOL, has it been that long since I've written a story?

Yingshan I see a ring, that's a ring. Otherwise we'll have chemy splice in a ring for us. Are you sure it's not Pete??? Dud, what's with the info talked about back then and people vouching for the guy's credibility? If it ain't Pete, I hope Karen (if she ever sees this) doesn't mind being paired off with him in this story. Shoot...have to edit the other one, h*ck that knocks off a full page. Should I leave it as is? Dud...
