Any bold has been done so by me and any [italics] in brackets has been added by me, not the original authors. Skatingfan For first time visitors WELCOME. This is 100% fan fiction. Fan fictioners agree to start a new chapter whenever the thread grows to 80 messages long. We also agree to never discuss this fan fiction material outside of Fan Fiction Land, i.e. we do not post any of this in rssif, FSW, or other threads in this MK forum etc. [Or the PK Forum] Fan fictioners are in the process of producing a play on MK and PK - Paul Kariya the captain of Mighty Ducks. The genius writer is Mano, contributing writers are Kooky, Yingshan (who is also the set designer), Wonder, A-Chan, and Littlepebbles. Chemy is the photographer. Magenta is the ultimate matchmaker, and the rest are managers of this co. I come here just to chill out. Sometimes we refer to MK as 6.0 b/c of the unprecedented # of perfect 6.0s she earned, and PK as #9, he wears #9. Yingshan To New Comers: Welcome to our fantasyland! The purpose of this place is for us to have some fun with our favorite skater: Michelle Kwan. We weave fictional accounts and speculations into very skimpy facts. So you'll be in serious trouble if you take what we say here seriously. And everything we say here are for your and our eyes only. None of this should be repeated elsewhere on the USNET, e.g. RSSIF, FSW.... [Or the PK Forum!!!!!] We're creating a romance novel/movie script. It's temporarily named "Ice to Ice" (I like "Icy Affairs" better). The leads are Michelle Kwan ("6.0") and Mighty Ducks captain Paul Kariya (#9). No, we don't know whether there's anything going on between them. We pick them to write because we think they make a perfect couple. [And not only because they're both Asian, or Asian and 1/2 Asian!] The main screen writer is Mano. I'm the producer/editor. My partner in production is Magenta. Chemy is our photographer. Wonder is my co-editor. Skatingfan is our sound whiz. Blizzard is our art director. Kooky and annabelle are on our contributing writing team. Littlepebbles is our director. Welcome to stay and watch our creative process. But please obey our confidentiality rule. We don't want our brilliant ideas being pirated. One More Criteria..... for anyone who wants to read here: YOU NEED A SENSE OF HUMOR! Mano Do not adjust your monitors, you have just entered...the Boyfriends Fan Fiction Zone (AKA BFFF) If you are feeling lightheaded, dizzy, and see Michael Jordan back with the Chicago BULLs (pun intended), you must STOP, click the "Back button" and seek medical attention quickly. If you happen to have a good sense of humor and realize that this is truly 100 % PURE FAN FICTION, then welcome to our humble abode. Remember, we are not responsible for any mental injuries that might occur upon seeing the fictional stories and pictures. In other words, enter at your own risk. However, we do offer BFFF Life Insurance. Ask one of our agents for more info. Without further ado...(drum roll) May I present the stars of the show... Paul Kariya and Michelle Kwan (Standing Ovation) <img src=http://www.geocities.com:80/Tokyo/Flats/3170/realmkpk.jpg> ABSolute Role Models!!! <img src=http://www.geocities.com:80/Tokyo/Flats/3170/abs.jpg> As the photosplicer responsible for the above pics, Chemy, would say "You are now in BFFF channel" The above disclaimer was paid for by the Friends of Michelle & Paul (AKA FOMP) a non-profit (and I mean non as in non-existent, right Yingshan?) organization. =========================== This is LP here: Not that PK fans aren't welcome (see NLK, I didn't forget you), they are as long as they don't show up trolling, send threatening e-mails, or go running back to the PK forum bashing us and Michelle. Cause unfortunately all that stuff has happened. Hope everyone enjoys our antics and don't be scared of Yingshan, she only bites on Tuesdays. :oÞ (Eek! That's today!)

Jarrett got that pic from the Disney promo of her 2nd show. Remember, we had to vote online what songs she and the other skaters were to skate to. What's cool about it is that PK and MK have technically the same hairstyle there. Another neat thing, MK's got her fresh face, no make-up look. I don't think she wore make-up for her skate at the Fanfair last year either. She decided to present herself as an athlete sans glitters, sequins, and costumes. Not so easy to do especially when you eventually have to meet up with cute hunks.

Mano is right, thats were I got it from. I was searchimg though my hundreds for MK pics on my computer and found it and played around with it until <A HREF=http://www.michellekwan.net/other/bfff.jpg >http://www.michellekwan.net/other/bfff.jpg </A>Anyways, yeah I don't usually post on the bfff but I always come and read :) LittlePebbles, try the link again, if you still couldn't get it to work. This is fiction and has nothing to do with boyfriend ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MK finally has a quiet moment, yes it is a long transpacific flight from Japan back to the STates. She thought to herself, time to catch up with business. Shep asked her to think about the issue of an official website/message board again, b/c some fans have asked about it. MK thought about her big sib and good friend, #1 best dressed golfer in the world, he has an offical messageboard. She called, and Big sib was glad to hear from his little sister. Big sib told her a lot about web sites etc, long explanation about the gigabites etc, etc. He told her that there are lots of professional help available out there. MK, " Big Sib, I am a bit lost in this computer lingo." Big Sib, "Oh, sorry, I am carried away. I guess I should ask, have you decided on an official board yet?" MK, "No, just one of those things that comes up once a year, you know Shep." Big Sib, " Actually, the forum is one of the best messageboard I have ever visited." MK, " You surf in the Forum, how cool." Big sib, "Yes, and I have fun lurking. Your fans really love you, and the forum has the atmosphere of a public community golf course." Mk, "Community golf course, I am lost again, what do you mean." Big Sib, " I grew up playing in a lot of public community golf courses. Those are wonderful places. People are there b/c they love to be there. They take pride in their golf courses, and they put forth good effort to maintain the courses w/o hiring big gun professionals. There is always a special place in my heart for community golf courses. And when I visit the forum I feel that your fans love to be there. It is well maintained by people who love the forum, not by professional people. I think in the forum is better than a lot of messageboards of offical skater/athlete websites." MK, "Like a community golf course." MK went on to chat with Big Sib congratulating the success of his first tournament of 2000. He told her that he is proud of her Japan Open. Mk had a huge smile after talking to Big Sib. The talk about community golf courses reminded her about the public skating sessions that she loved so much when she was little.

I am having a self imposed exile from Mk forum for a couple of weeks. Just have been clicking the mouse too much lately, and my R. wrist hurts, overuse syndrome or whatever. It is still ok to type. In adddition, I have a deadline coming up in 10 days for writing an abstract. I HATE to write, I can't spell, I can't type, and I can not write. What is the use of majoring in science and medicine, if I still end up having to write. But then what is the use in doing the work, gathering data etc, if I don't write it up. Sigh... I will of course check the boards for GPF results. Mano Happy B day soon. And finally I can not leave fan fiction land w/o posting something fun for you to read. It is not about boyfriend fiction. But I hope you will like it. I will post it under the thread ," I know #9, I know 6.0, but who is 008"

skatingfan don't leave us!!! Sheesh, first Magenta, then Yingshan, Wonder and now you. What is happening, have we lost faith in MK and PK actually getting together? (I am so getting to that point after last night's game, more on that later). Anywho, be back soon, rest up and write your paper. Make sure you will have an excellent BFFF story when you return. Can't do it without you. Okay, so I am depressed, not because MK wasn't at the Duck's game last night (well okay that's one factor) but because the Ducks lost AGAIN for the 4th time, sigh. Methinks someone changed their name to Mighty Skunks 'cause they just plain "stank" yesterday. Oh, yes, I am this harsh to all teams I love.(Knicks, Mets, Giants). H*ck, actually, I'm being nice. They know the score. Kariya and Selanne, where art thou? People expect magic, but the disappearing act is wearing thin. So somebody cheer me up. Joke, story, real life sighting of MK and PK together, Ducks actually winning something, Info of MK upping her technical (yeah, it's getting to me too) etc. Heehee, just being Maria B Honest now.

Chemy, I'm doing fine now, thanks to your cute emoticons. Methinks, MK emoticon will be feeling lonesome soon if a PK emoticon doesn't show up soon. Okay I have a scavenger hunt for you Chemy. Can you do something with pics I'm going to describe to you? 1) MK in her RV opening pose (looking upwards) in '99 World's exhibition. 2) Pair the above pic with a PK pic on center ice looking up (under spotlights). I think you can find that pic in the PK site with 200 pics. 3) Next pair, MK in her second cover of Heart of a Champion like your emoticon <img src=http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Flats/3170/mksmiley.gif> but more of the pic. 4) The above pic would go well with PK's pose with his chin resting on his hand and half his face shadowed here: <A HREF=http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Flats/3170/mksmiley.gif >http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Flats/3170/mksmiley.gif </A> Anywho, I think those pics would look good together, but I could be very wrong. They would make neat signature graphics or something. That or I'm just making your life miserable by having you search for all the pics...well with Yingshan MIA, somebody's got to do it, hehehe. I know, I'm due for a story. Skatingfan has done her part. Bearpaw where art thou, skatingfan needs a continuation to her story.

PK ain't going to be too pleased, hehehe. Michelle so did not expect that and almost had a "Paul, I didn't do anything to make Tim do that, I was minding my own business okay?" Hehehe, Todd also had a weird look on his face after that, he almost shook his head at Tim?

Paul was anxious to get back home from practice... after a hard team workout he rushed into his apartment and dumped his stuff on the floor...."oh good, my vcr worked!" he thought to himself..."now i can relax and watch Michelle.." he started rewinding the tape, freshly recorded from 3:00-5:00 pm. he knew she skated towards the end, so he stopped the tape adn pressed play. "wow, her hair's longer now..." he whispered out loud...he hadn't seen her in a while and had started to forget what she looked like. Watching Michelle glide across the ice put Paul in a trance...staring at the screen with a mesmorized look, he wondered how she does it everytime on the ice....when the program was over, he stood up and applauded even though he knew she couldn't hear him...but, alas, what is this? a peck on the cheek from Timothy Goebels? Paul stopped smiling and pressed pause...."Wait a second there! no one kisses Michelle but me!" he wouldn't have minded if it was brian cuz he knew they were friends...but timothy? &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; *&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; * After performing her "Hands" program at keri lotion, Michelle made her way towards the kiss and cry area....she felt a kiss and looked over to see it was Timothy..."this is a bit suprising" she thought. "i don't really expect any kisses..well, except from Paul." the thought of Paul kind of gave her a fuzzy feeling inside and she sat down for her scores. i hope Paul doesn't get the wrong idea....

Michelle knew there was no way it could have gone un-noticed. #9 knew -- there was no way to hide it from him. After all, nationally televised is nationally seen is nationally known. The phone rang. 6.0 jumped, her heart racing. It was #9. She had to convince him it was nothing. Nothing at all, just a love struck Tim Goebel putting his affection where it was not needed. If only #9 would believe her ... "Hello?" She said quietly. "Hey Michelle, you were awesome!" It was Karen. 6.0's shoulders drooped, and she let out a sigh of relief. "Thanks sis, I'm glad you enjoyed it." "Yeah, it was great! I was a little concerned with D.ick saying you 'lacked your usual spiffiness.' You can't let him get to you." "Uh huh ..." Michelle replied, twirling her soft hair in her fingers. Her body was talking to her sister, but her mind was talking to #9, telling him that nothing had happened, that everything was fine. Karin frowned. "Is something wrong?" "No, wellll, yeah, kind of ... " Michelle sighed. "That kiss from Tim, right?" 6.0 couldn't help but smile. "Yeah. Hey," she added playfully, "Are you psychic or what?" "Older sisters have their ways," Karen replied in ominous tones. "Well, anyway, he just leaned over and kissed me -- I felt so strange -- the camera was right there -- " she trailed off, but Karen finished. "And Paul saw everything?" Michelle shrugged. "I can only assume so. I know he said he'd be watching." "Well," Karen said quietly, "If he saw it, he's going to say something. but don't worry about it, Ok? Just explain what happened." "Yeah," 6.0 replied. "I mean, he's reasonable, it's no big deal, right?" Karen laughed. "Right." There was a pause. "Hey honey, I have to go. You were great, keep up the good work!" "You know I will," Michelle said. She felt renewed and brave after talking to her sister. They hung up, and Michelle got a glass of water. She was in the kitchen when the phone rang. She took a big gulp, and answered. "Hello?" "It's me," #9's voice came over the line, deep and strong and beautiful. It sent shivers down Michelle's spine. "Hi 'me,'" she said, trying to sound casual. "Did you see the competition?" "Yeah, I did," Paul replied. It was obvious that he was uncomfortable. "Um ... did you have fun?" Michelle smiled. "I always do," but suddenly realized what that must sound like. "But of course," she added, "I missed you." "Uh huh." #9 said quietly. "Well, uh, how'd you like your team members?" Michelle groaned silently. He knew all right, but wasn't going to say anything. "Oh, everyone was great," she said lightly. There was a long pause. Finally, 6.0 broke it. "Look, Paul, I know what you're thinking. I've been worried about talking to you ever since -- it happened." "Yeah?" #9 sounded hurt, almost angry. "And what happened anyway, why don't you tell me that, Michelle!" "That's just it," she sighed. *Here we go,* she thought, and jumped in. "Nothing happened! I don't know what Timothy was thinking, I was just sitting there and he leaned over and kissed me! It wasn't like I planned it or anything. You must believe that I would never do anything behind your back! Honey --" She was near tears. "Honey, I love you! You know that! Oh ..." There was silence. Michelle let out a deep breath, and waited for Paul to say something. Anything. Come on Paul, say *something* !!!! Some one else can take it from here, I have to finish geometry before tomorrow morning! Amelia

Just when I thought BFFF was dead, A-Chan and Amelia come true for us!!! Excellent stories, perfectly timed from A-chan's Kiss&Cry account to Amelia's after the fact tie-in. Oh, joy, you guys are on the mark. Amelia, great entry for your first time. You and A-chan just made my day. BTW, skatingfan, I won't lose sleep over what Tim did, but man your "MK must have a UCLA boyfriend" one is going to definitely make me spend time watching VH1's Imsoniac Theater tonight. Sigh. Bubble burst, there. Forgive me for not having any stories, but the thought of MK or PK being with someone else thoroughly puts a damper on my creativity. Drains me BFFF lifeless, sob, sniff, hiccup.

The high priestess just replaced her Pentium I with a Pentium III machine and finally got back to business. Yeeha!I'm still in the testing and installing stage. Mano, is the pic underneath your name blurry or it's my machine's resolution? Other pictures seem fine, especially the #9 pic. :-) Karin, are you just engaged? Congratulations! I hate the color of Michelle's "Hands" costume. It's probably the worst color she has ever worn. The beige makes her look so washout. Urgh. Whoever chose that color for her should be fired. The style is okay. It's the style in fashion in sportswear this past season. Wow, we have some new talents here. Welcome, Amelia. Great debut! That peck was funny. Michelle seemed surprised by it. Chemy, LOL on your pic. skatingfan, good luck on your writing and hurry back once you're done. We'll miss you. Congrats to Tiger on a fantastic win today. I actually watched most of it. It's edge of the seat finish. Wow! Tiger and Ernie played some great golf today. Okay, I'm going to catch up on other topics as well. Talk to you later.

Do you see Tim's hand? It's like he's pulling her to him. #9 must be steaming! He's probably wondering what's been going on when they are working with Lori. Didn't Michelle have to go to Lori this year because Lori was pregnant? Maybe Tim was there at the same time. I'm really bummed because my husband turned the channel so my vcr taped some other show (fishing)! He apologized very sweetly, but I told him it was going to cost him money because now I have to buy it :-)! Great job a_chan and amelia!

Sharon, for the welcome back. It's awefully quiet here. Where is everyone? skatingfan, I hope you still lurk here. I forgot to mention last night I had similar problem a year ago. Here are several things I did. First, I bought a mouse with a track ball, the kind as big as a palm so I can rest my palm on it and don't need to hold it with my hand as regular mouse. It's much easier on the hand. Second, I adjusted my chair and computer to make it ergonomically correct. To achieve that, your forearm on the desk (at a right angle) and your thighs in the chair must parrallel to the ground and your eye level much be at the top of the monitor. Third, I went to see an accupunturist. Accupuncture can relax the nerves at your wrist. My wrist is so much better now. Try them.

Heehee, just kidding. I am so glad you're back, honest, it's not the same when our director/producer etc isn't around to crispify us into writing stories and producing pics. Actually there was a point when I was talking to myself as usual, but Chemy cheered me up some. Plus the cool new stories from skatingfan, A-chan and Amelia. And Jarrett is no help 'cause he just likes to torture me, posting that TG cop a kiss pic all over the place. Thank you Chemy for setting things aright with PK beating up TG in the BFFF Smackdown. If you notice, no stories from me and my excuse is that TG drained the stories right out of me, sigh. However you guys should check out Shallah's Japan Open pics she just posted on MK Chat again. One pic of MK features her wearing ANOTHER necklace aside from her Dragon Charm one. I've already left my mark all over that thread, feel free to speculate yourselves guys. Also, interesting facts about PK from the Mighty Questions at the Mighty Duck's site. His fave Bond Movie is Live and Let Die, his favorite Super Model is Rebecca Romijn Stamos (he left out Stamos), he'd rather have Betty over Veronica, says Anakin Skywalker is Luke's father (although Matt Cullen and Teemu says that Paul is Luke's father), Star Wars (Episode 1) is the last movie he watched and his fave movie is also Star Wars (probably the original Episode IV). Also asked if he was Y2K compliant, he answered, nothing in his house is, he doesn't even have a COMPUTER!!! Okay, I'm sorry, but if you are a Star Wars Geek (apologies, but hey aren't we all), you have to be a techie of sorts and have possession of a computer of some sort. Sheesh, methinks we BFFFers have to invest more money to buy PK a Computer 'cause how in the world is he going to play MK's game without one. PK's rebuttal: "Why in the world would I want to play with Michelle's computer game when I can play with the real thing instead!!!" heehee, mano get thee mind out of the gutter posthaste!!! And Yingshan, the personal pic is a bit blurry.

You've got good help these days, I too am wondering when Amelia will debut her MK/PK pics. BTW, about Tim Goebel, my sister-in-law's parents said something about what he did. "Sumilip na, humalik pa!!!" (to the non-Filipinos it means, "He already peeked, he kissed too." or something to that effect.) Apparently, they caught a look that I also took note of. When Michelle takes a seat after getting the stuff from the flower girls, you will notice that TG looks down quickly at...where else would he be looking. It's there folks, just rewind your tape. It's the most hilarious thing. He's starting young as a player isn't he. Okay, enough of the scrub. Thanks for the sig pic. I'm pretty sure PK must have seen MK's RV et al. How can he not. ABC probably sent him all MK's comps this year unedited with all Camera angles.

I think I'll have to take crispyfication because I am too tired and depressed to think of anything right now. Maybe spending some time in the pot will help my brains a little. Unfortunately, school started back this week and I have to think about math instead of BFFF. (Like I said, you're all welcome to join BFFF even though there not much of anything going on right now.) Welcome back Yingshan. Good stories Skatingfan, Akemi_Chan, and Amelia. And great pictures as always, Chemy. Gone to eat about 5 lbs. of chocolate....

Mano don't worry about that peck. I didn't even think twice about it until all the ruckus was made in MK Fan Chat. He just doesn't seem like her type. I'm more interested in where she got that necklace. It had to be from someone special, or for a special reason, for her to be wearing it. Regarding the peek at her derriere, well let's just say that her costume was just a tad revealing when she was finished with her skate. I couldn't tell, and trust me I wasn't looking too hard, if she had a wedgie or if that was the cut of the costume. But when the males in my household (who hate figure skating of any kind) stop dead in their tracks when Michelle was doing the "Charlotte" and say "What the hell is that!!!!" then I can imagine any healthy male would take a look at close range if the opportunity presented itself! I think the bigger problem is the fact that PK doesn't have a computer. Holy Cow that guy needs to get of the stone-age! Maybe it would take his mind off of how lousy his team is playing, help him relax alittle and maybe improve his powerplay goals. How the heck can a team go from having the number 1 power play in the league last year to the one of the worst this year? Here is little article to read that discusses some of the Ducks problems, however the main focus is on Teemu and how he hasn't been seen smiling too much lately. And what a shame that is because he has such a gorgeous smile! :-) <A HREF=http://www.ocregister.com/sports/bisheff.shtml >http://www.ocregister.com/sports/bisheff.shtml </A> Here's another very short para. <A HREF=http://sports.latimes.com/news/20000112/hko/ana/000003631.html >http://sports.latimes.com/news/20000112/hko/ana/000003631.html </A> They're on tonight, Fox Sports Net 2, at 730pm pacific time. I am SCREAMING right now! I haven't seen this yet and everyones talking about it! The peck, the peek...I think I'll go murder my husband after all. I got fishing instead of Michelle, can you believe it? Not that I don't fish, but it's NO comparison. Sorry you're depressed LP. I am right now eating a commismurating (spelling? sorry) piece of chocolate :-)! Maybe watch "hands" a few times? Good luck in school.

littlepebbles1 why are you sad? Don't eat chocolate when you're sad it will have a negative effect on you. Eat it like I do, for no reason at all! That way you don't have to worry about the calories!! That's my logic for all food, I use the French mentality and look at food as a wonderful thing that can do you no harm. The American mentality when we eat is "this is bad for me" or eating because were depressed, and it ends up usually being bad for you and making you even sadder. I know none of this is BFFF stuff but what does this mean: "Maybe spending some time in the pot will help my brains a little" is that Filipino? Please don't be offended or laugh at me, I'm just curious. While your doing your Math put MK on your VCR, just seeing/hearing her skate in the background should cheer you up. When I'm depressed that's what I do, even better for me is watching Superbowl XXXII again. It works every time. I've watched that sucker at least 20 times in the past 2 yrs and haven't tired of it yet. Watch the Mighty Ducks tonight, maybe they'll win and we can all cheer up!

Chemy methinks we need a sad depressed smiley 'cause the Ducks just lost again and I'm not feeling too hunky dory about all the other developments in Real time either. KJesse, the Ducks mighty sucks right now. Teemu is an absolute no show and methinks it's because the Maurice Richard trophy he received last year is a Jinx, hehehe. They gotta get out of their funk. 'Cause nothing is working right now. They seem uninspired, and not having a lot of fun (although how can you when you lose, but at the same time, these guys are being payed BIG money to PLAY. I wish I could get paid to play anything 'cause I'd have the time of my life). I think they should just relax and just let it flow, not think about their woeful powerplay and all. They should just play each game like it's the 7th game of the Stanley Cup Finals. They need to attack each game. By the same token, I hope that MK would skate each competition like its the last 7 minutes in the Olympics. She needs to attack each skate. Sigh, I don't think I'm going to last this whole week. Well, when all else fails, prayer always works.

The word derrière is French for "back" or "rear".

I take back the Mighty Sucks part, 'cause those who saw the game said that the Ducks played well, they just couldn't score...maybe they'll come around. I still believe in these guys. BTW, Mr. Paul Kariya was reported to be ill in LA Times and OC Register so he missed the morning skate. He did play in the game last night fighting "the flu" according to the Kariya's Korner site. Good for him, but I bet he feels mighty awful now. Hey, if Michelle can still end up with the Silver with the flu at '99 Worlds, this guy can do it. Next game is Jan. 14. BTW, here's to hoping MK is quite healthy and strong for the GPF. If she's sick this time around, I know who to blame!!!

The Ducks had a short practice on Sunday, more like a meeting over at Anaheim Pond. They were all tired mentally and physically from Saturday night’s game in which they lost 5-3 against their nemesis, Detroit Red Wings. Their red eye flight back to LA didn’t help either. Their coach Craig Hartsburg dismissed his listless team after watching them skate around for a while. Their next game wasn’t until Wednesday so he’ll just use Monday and Tuesday to brush up on their deplorable power play and penalty kills by the special unit. Might as well spend this Sunday either at Church (they need a lot of prayer – Born Again Christian Stu Grimson was stopped by a couple of guys for prayer requests as usual) or at home with their family, or watching that other American Pastime, Football. At Matt Cullen’s house: The players were gathered around the big screen TV watching the Wild Card Playoff’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Minnesota Vikings. At one point the Vikings were losing to the Cowboys 10-3. “Your team is going to lose, Dallas has the playoff experience behind them to win this.” Pascal Trepanier teased. “Says who, the Vikings are just getting warmed up. We’ll get them in the 2nd half.” Matt Cullen said. “Besides you’re just upset that the Broncos aren’t in it this year, they were a long shot since the beginning of the season anyway, what with Elway retired.” Jeff Neilsen, another Minnesota native continued. “What do you know of Football, you’d rather watch Golf.” Pascal shot back. “Well for one thing I’m a man, so I have the football genes thing. By the way, can we check on ESPN, the golf just started there too. Tiger Woods and Ernie Els are co-leaders after the third round.” Jeff said. “If you want to watch another sport, you have to watch in the other room, isn’t that right Paul?” Matt asked the team’s captain who seemed lost in his thoughts. “Huh? Yeah, whatever.” Paul answered distractedly. “Michelle on your mind again? Don’t worry, you can watch her skate in the other room.” Matt continued. “Hey Matt, I thought you set up your VCR here to tape that, ooomph! Knock it off.” Pascal said and gave Matt a mean look and tossed the nerf football in the direction of Matt. He missed. Pascal continued, “what I meant is… “ Paul cut in, “I know, I know, cleaving through a Nickle Defense right?” Matt started laughing at Pascal’s guilty expression. Jeff Neilsen just grabbed the remote from Matt to switch to golf. “Hey!!!” A chorus of football eager Duck players shouted. “Only for a second, I just want to see who’s leading.” Jeff shouted back. Paul Kariya just shook his head at his teammates. He’s wondering why he was even here among the guys. Teemu, who is spending time with his family, told him it was a good way for him to relax and pass the time. He told him he’d rather be with Michelle, but she was still in Arrowhead. Their schedule has been so crazy that spending time with each other these days is next to impossible. Today, he gets to see Michelle’s new program to Jewel’s Hands. It was a more spiritual song compared to her One More Time and Kissing You exhibition which she said she dedicated to him. He was extremely flattered and couldn’t help feeling a little bit proud. The guys won’t stop the teasing though, but it was well worth it. He’s also enjoying all of her new costumes. It really shows off her sensual body, but in a tasteful and innocent way. Unfortunately, he can’t help but feel a bit possessive when it comes to Michelle. The fact that a ton of other guys get to see her in these costumes makes him cringe. He’d rather have her all to himself. He still remembered the day before she had to go to Kennewick Washington for the Keri Lotion USA vs World competition. She visited Disney Ice while the Ducks were practicing. She looked a little bit tired because she just finished all her finals at UCLA.

a much-cherished voice said. Paul, who was speeding around the ice, stopped, spun around quickly, and headed towards Michelle, much to the dismay of his teammates who were chasing him around since he had control of the puck. They all bumped into each other, too intent on watching the reunion of their captain and Michelle Kwan. Their coach Craig Hartsburg just rolled his eyes at the pile of smiling Mighty Ducks players whose eyes were still glued to the couple. He could have sworn he heard Matt Cullen say “wait, I have to get my video camera!!!” while trying to extract himself from the pile. “Michelle, what brings you here?” Paul asked with a big smile on his face. “I wanted to surprise you. I’m off to Washington tomorrow and I wanted to stop by before I left.” Michelle answered shyly. “Well, I am pleasantly surprised. I’d give you a welcoming hug if I wasn’t so sweaty from the workout.” Paul said, disappointment tingeing his voice. Michelle, noting this, just smiled, stood on tiptoe and gave Paul Kariya a short, sweet kiss that took him by surprise again. His teammates started whistling in the background and making catcalls. The coach could have sworn again that he heard Matt say, “Aw, dagnabit! I missed that! Where the heck is my video camera?” Paul looked at his teammates and laughed. He asked permission from the Coach to be excused. Craig nodded his approval. Paul then got rid of his gloves, helmet and stick and took Michelle by the hand. They went to the weight room where they could have a little bit of peace and quiet. It was the only place that was deserted at the time. Paul then grabbed Michelle close and spent the next five minutes or so kissing her. He missed her that much, he was allowed. And she didn’t seem to mind either for she felt the same way. They finally separated after they heard someone say, “Hey Paul, have you seen my hockey stick?” Paul gave Teemu a menacing look and replied, “You mean, other than the one that is already in your hand?” “Why thank you for helping me, knew you’d find it,” that being said and with a big smile on his face, Teemu made his way back to the rink. “How he always manages to interrupt us every time we get together is beyond me.” Paul said, sighing, then he pulled Michelle towards a workout bench and both sat down. He noticed Michelle holding a bag with her. “What’s that?” He asked. “Oh, this is what I came here to show you. I want to show you my new costume for my new program Hands. I told you about that a couple of weeks back.” Michelle excitedly answered. “I remember. I am going to miss that Kissing You program. It’s what I liked doing best with you.” Paul said slyly. “Oh, behave, Paul.” Michelle said, as he laughed. “Well, where’s the costume?” Paul asked. Michelle took out of the bag and stretched it out before him. “Good there are sleeves and it covers your shoulders too.” Paul said, then he looked more closely and realized, “I believe the designer cut one too many holes in this costume.” He said gravely. “What, it’s fine and, oh, that’s the style Paul.” Michelle said, not at all worried about the suddenly possessive look on his face. “I don’t think it will show anything at all, my Red Violin costume showed more in the front than this would, I’m sure.” “Alright, whatever you say. It’s a lovely costume by the way. If I could I’d ask you to wear it now just to show it off, but I know the guys will be barging in here any second now. Teemu is usually my signal to know that the others are just within earshot.” “So I guess his interruptions have its uses.” Michelle said. “Sometimes.” ***

of the costume and the program. All he knew was that she skated well and that team USA won the Open competition. He was happy for her. Their team was doing well too in the month of December until they lost their center Rucchin to a Staph infection in his ankle before Christmas. They’ve been struggling ever since especially on their powerplay. They haven’t won anything in 6 games and they are last in the Pacific Division now. He couldn’t really concentrate on the Football game and it wasn’t going to relax him any. But having nothing else to do, he just watched the game until the end. By that time the game was over, Matt Cullen and Jeff Neilsen were giving each other high fives. The Vikings just defeated the Dallas Cowboys. “Alright, time for Golf!!!” Jeff said. “Sorry pal, but it is Figure Skating time.” Matt Cullen said. “Figure Skating?!? Since when do you guys watch Figure Skating?” Jeff asked incredulously, but then noticed his teammates pointing in the direction of Paul. “Oh, er, forget I asked.” He said instead. Paul Kariya wasn’t really paying attention to the conversation. He did turn his attention back to the TV when he realized that they were featuring skating instead. “Oh, C’mon, they’re still showing the guys, can we just change the channel until Michelle is up?” Somebody suggested. “Yeah, she usually goes last anyway.” Another implied. Paul just smiled after hearing his teammates (all of whom were single) know exactly when ABC usually features Michelle. An hour or so later, the channel was back to figure skating and it was the final match-up. The guys started hollering when they saw Michelle’s outfit. “Hey Paul, she seems slimmer now than at Skate Canada, but it enhances her curves even more.” Pascal said, but decided to shut up after seeing Paul’s face suddenly become more serious. The guys watched the whole program in awed silence. At the end of the program, they were clapping for her. Matt Cullen turned to Pascal and asked, “Do you think that costume is in the game, it shows more cleavage than the other, oomph.” This time it was a slap on the back of the head by Pascal. “Hey what did you do that for, oh, nevermind.” Matt decided to shut up also after seeing Paul turn his head to their direction. At this point Michelle was sitting surrounded by her teammates in the kiss and cry area. Her scores were being announced. “What, no 6.0’s. What were the judges thinking.” Jeff asked. The other guys were voicing their complaints too then suddenly the whole room became deathly quiet. A glass broke. All the guys turned their heads to look at Paul Kariya, his glass now lying in shards on the floor before him. His face was hard and unreadable. “I have to go,” Paul said suddenly. The guys all looked at each other after seeing their captain leave looking a bit upset. “Who the heck is that nerdy guy who was all over Michelle.” Jeff asked. “Don’t know, but whoever he is, he’s in big trouble.” ----------------------------------- Paul Kariya drove home. He taped the event and wanted to see what happened again. He was simmering inside. He’s never felt this anger inside of him before, but that move by that guy just ruined his enjoyment of Michelle’s program. “What am I doing, the guy looks like a lovesick puppy and is probably harmless.” He told himself. He rewound the tape and watched Michelle skate again. He smiled because he really liked the peacefulness of the program. Then he gripped the VCR remote harder when he saw the boy, Timothy Goebel, sneak behind Michelle’s neck and kiss her cheek. He also noticed her peek at her derriere earlier. He wasn’t happy about the developments. Michelle never told him about this either. He eyed the phone. [Go back to Amelia’s Story] “Paul, say something. I don’t need this stress right now, school is starting again and I have to compete next week. Please say something.” Michelle tearfully pleaded. She still heard silence and then…“I’ll talk to you later.” Paul said before hanging up. He heard her tearfully say no. Paul closed his eyes and felt like a fool. He doesn’t like it when she’s sad and it pains him when she cries and he was the cause of it this time around. He put his face in his hands and sighed. He needed to be near her. He looked at the time. It was going to be a two-hour drive to Arrowhead. She was worth it. Michelle was crying. She had laid herself on the couch and couldn’t stop crying. It was all a silly misunderstanding. If only she could have told him earlier what happened and explained that Timmy was nothing more than a little brother to her. She felt awful. She still had to pack up and get ready for UCLA, which starts tomorrow. She didn’t have any strength to get up. She cried herself to sleep instead. Paul Kariya thanked Danny Kwan for letting him in Michelle’s A-frame house. He had asked for assistance from him because Michelle wasn’t answering the door and he was worried. Paul had to explain everything that happened that afternoon. Michelle’s father just listened patiently with his wife Estella at his side. Paul was a wreck at the end of his explanation. Danny had assured him that Michelle didn’t go anywhere and was probably resting and didn’t hear the doorbell. He trusted Paul since he has been dating Michelle since they met last January. He didn’t have any problems leaving Paul to face Michelle alone. Paul took a deep breath. Danny had left after telling him not to worry. Paul started calling Michelle’s name as he entered the A-frame house. It was neat and clean as always, but very quiet. He went towards the living room and noticed a small figure huddled on the couch. It was Michelle and she was fast asleep. His heart ached when he noticed her cheeks still a little damp with tears. He kneeled next to her and wiped the tears with his thumb as he softly cradled her face in his hand. Michelle’s eyes opened in surprise. She looked at the serious face of Paul Kariya, noticed his eyes a little watery too. No words were spoken between them. None were needed. Paul just opened his arms and Michelle melted right in. She sobbed into his neck as he tried to soothe her. A few minutes later, Paul was sitting on the couch cradling Michelle on his lap. It was getting late. “I’m sorry.” Paul said quietly. “I’m sorry too…he means nothing to me, he’s like a brother and I should have told you earlier.” Michelle said pleadingly. “Michelle, you don’t have to explain, I overreacted. I never had to worry before after Elvis assured me of his brotherly feelings for you and when I met Todd, it was the same thing. I’ve never met this Tim Goebel, and he really looks enamored of you, but who wouldn’t. I just felt helpless. I wanted to lash out the guy and say that you’re mine.” Paul explained. “Now you know how I feel when you have to go play on the road. I know that there are many women out there who are waiting for you outside your locker rooms. Jeremy Roenick of the Phoenix Cayotes said that there are many temptations out there. He even says his wife likes you more than him.” Michelle said, pouting a little. “I think I’m going to have to talk to Jeremy next time the Ducks meet up with the Cayotes. Michelle, know this that I would never stray from you. I’m faithfully yours.” Paul said lovingly. “Oh, I think I’m going to cry again.” Michelle said. “Don’t worry, I brought an extra shirt, cry as much as you like. ‘Side’s gives me a good excuse to be close to you.” Paul said. “Thanks.” Michelle answered. The couple happily kiss and make-up. A little while later, Paul and Michelle were heading back to LA. He had asked permission to bring Michelle to the UCLA dorms. They drove her Lexus SUV. He wasn’t worried about the car he was leaving at Michelle’s parent’s house. It was one of Teemu’s after all so he won’t miss it. While driving he made a call on the cell phone to Philadelphia. Ring-Ring “I’m up, I’m up! Hello?!?” Elvis Stojko said. “Hello Elvis, I think you owe me.” Paul said. “Paul Kariya, is that you? Do you know what time it is in the East Coast right now? I’m going to tell Michelle you bothered me.” Elvis complained. “Well, you can tell her yourself, she’s right here.” Paul hands the phone to Michelle. She says hello with a big smile on her face then hands the phone back to Paul before Elvis recovered. “Alright, I give up, what is it you want?” Elvis said glumly. “Small favor, just keep your eye on Michelle for me during the Grand Prix Finals.” Paul said. “Oh, I see. Timmy right? I spoke to him after Keri last time. Don’t worry Paul, if he so even looks at her, my Karate expertise will be put to good use.” Elvis assured him. “Thanks.” “Zzzzzzzz…” ~The End~

I just read the MK Fan Chat suggestions for ways that 6.0 could branch out to impress D!ck Button and that cheered me right up because they are LOL! Chemy's pictures work wonders too. And by the way thanks for making me want chocolate--guess I'll have to go get some now :-) Of course, I am not too depressed because I love a little jealousy in the BFFF world. Maybe Tim's kiss was just another of those crazy schemes created by the head of 6.0's most notable advisory board, The Stojko School of Romance. (Go Elvis, Go Elvis...) ******************** "Didn't I tell you it would work? You can thank me later." "Thank you?! Thank you?! That wasn't quite what I had in mind, Mr Stojko." "Oh, so now it's Mr. Stojko? What did I do to deserve that? You know you're my top case as well as my star pupil. I give you the best scheme money can buy, and believe me Mr. Goebel didn't come cheaply, and all of the sudden I'm Mr. Stojko?!" "You could of at least told me what you were planning so I could have stopped you. I thought Paul was going to kill me over the phone last night and I don't think he believed my protestations of innocence either. I thought I told you to be a little more subtle." "Then it would have lacked the element of spontaneity. Do you want this guy eating out of the palm of your hand or what?" "But he was biting my head off instead. Does this School come with any money back guarantee? Where did I put that contract? How late is the People's Court open anyway?" "Hold on a minute there little lady. The Stojko School will be more than happy to forget our little financial incentives in the case of an unsatisfied customer but I would recommend that you stick with the program through the final installment. This is just a minor setback." "Just make sure thats all it is or..." "Don't worry. I know who the enforcer of your relationship is and I don't want to take any unnecessary chances. I think you'll be quite pleased with the grand finale of this little scheme so just be patient a little longer..." to be continued... ************************* LONG LIVE THE KING OF ROMANCE ADVISORS :-)

Actually, I was having trouble with my server so I couldn't put the last one in on time. Or Marcella, we could ask Heather or Jenny to reshuffle the post to have yours come after mine 'cause your story happens after mine since Michelle says, "last night," regarding the phone call. Plus MK and Elvis meets at Grand Prix so that would make sense.

Apologies to everyone for the sudden wide screen appearance of BFFF. I had asked Jenny and Heather to do a little editing so Marcella's story wouldn't be cut up by mine. She still has an Elvis continuation, which I'm waiting for (Where is it Marcella, hehehe). Mayhap I should have left things as they were so that people don't have to worry about straining their necks and eyes to scroll. If it's bothering everybody, just tell me I will crawl back to our great moderators (who are unbelievably nice, have I told you they are so nice?) and beg forgiveness and have it go back to the way it is.

Hi beefers, I am back, can't stay away for long. Yingshan thanks for the tips. I need to buy that mouse. For now I am using my L. hand to click the mouse. I've done a rough prelim draft of the write up. Patiently waiting for those statisticians to crunch some good numbers with the data so I can finish the paper, so it could be rejected. That is life. Icare, don't ask that question, or else you will have a 10 page response from the beefers here. Way back when BFFF started, I believe Mano, Yingshan, Magenta, and maybe Chemy were the die hard Paul fans. Some of us prefer to fan fiction wise match MK with another athlete, I love Tiger, but then he got himself a gf. I think most people are converts. I like #9 to fan fiction wise match up with 6.0. I do not consider myself as a Paul fan. This is just for fun. Of course fan fiction even BFFF does not limit any poster just to write about PK. There had been suggestions of calling this thread as MK/PK fan fiction, and everyone wanted it to remain as BFFF. That means you can write your own fiction if you want. Of course Paul fans have more votes here. And to Mk's male fans who are lurking, i think you guys are welcomed to write your own fan fiction about Mk here in this section of Mk forum.

(hint, hint) skatingfan, you're welcome. Hope your hand getting better. I'm going back to my acupuncturist tomorrow. My right shoulder hurts and my thumb has the tinckling sensation again. icare, we, meaning Mano and I, wrote volumes of MK and PK's compatibility when this BFFF first installed. We converted everyone else. Here are some short points (mano may fill you in more since my shoulder and hand hurts): - good looks - Asian heritage - family oriented - modest and introspective personality - geographic proximicity (S. Californicans) - matching fame and fortune - opportunities to meet (both with ties with Disney) - age - height - both world class athletes Mano, did I miss anything?

Speaking of #9, things are looking very Duckie indeed. MDucks are playing StLouis Blues (a very good team) and are up 2-1. #9 is feeling great tonight (as told to the TV commentators prior to game time), and during a 2nd period powerplay Selanne & PK finally hooked up for a beautiful goal. Hopefully this funk they've recently been in will start turning around tonight. Of course the game isn't over yet, but I like to think positive. :-) They're playing on FoxWest2 if you're interested and get that cable channel. Holy Cow, Teemu Selanne just got rammed into the boards, he's still down, looks like a legal check, he's just now getting up. Looks like he got the wind knocked out of him, maybe knocked his jaw. He's on the bench now and hopefully will be back in. Very good game, Teemu very hot tonight. 2nd period just ended.

all the compatibility points that MK and PK share so I don't need to add anymore. We, too, also use this place as an escape from all the stresses we encounter each day. Guys, I'm awfully worried for Michelle. She is looking so thin. I hope she eases up a bit on her schedule. By the same token, PK also looks like he has lost some weight too. Plus he was sick this past week. He didn't allow it to stop from playing though, much like MK didn't allow the flu to stop her from competing at last years Worlds. Maybe Michelle is also feeling bad about the Ducks not winning in 7 games 'cause she feels what PK feels...that's if they are together. Yesterday, MK was leading after the first round and we see the Ducks win big against a top team. Today, MK loses, and the Ducks lose too. PK did score a goal though. I didn't see the game so I don't know their energy level when they played. KJesse, did you watch, if so, were they flat out there? X-File Theory Time: Anywho, if MK and PK are together, she's not only juggling college and skating, but a relationship as well. That and she also is now worried about PK playing as well as the Duck's winning/losing. So if PK is not happy about the way things are with the team, MK will also be reflecting that. PK will also be feeling MK's juggling act and may feel the pain of her loss too. We go crazy when MK loses, imagine if you are her soulmate. That plus MK and PK hardly see each other 'cause he's on the road, she's in school. Plus they have to keep it all a secret. Talk about stress. Lastly, MK must have seen NHL Coolshots 'cause yesterday's showing marks the third time PK was featured with an Anu-like blond bombshell. She was asking him questions about his brothers and to describe a day in the life of Paul Kariya. I was so wanting to move them apart when they were sitting next to each other, like her knees were touching his almost. Ick, Ick, Ick. All in all, this has not been a good week, BFFFwise. I hope MK really rests up.

How about a dose of MK's triple-triple smiles <img src=http://www.geocities.com:80/Tokyo/Flats/3170/mksmiley2.gif><img src=http://www.geocities.com:80/Tokyo/Flats/3170/mksmiley3.gif> <img src=http://www.geocities.com:80/Tokyo/Flats/3170/mksmiley4.gif><img src=http://www.geocities.com:80/Tokyo/Flats/3170/mksmiley5.gif> <img src=http://www.geocities.com:80/Tokyo/Flats/3170/mksmiley6.gif><img src=http://www.geocities.com:80/Tokyo/Flats/3170/mksmiley7.gif> Go Michelle!

He was still sore from being beat up by The Heroic #9!! I mean, we have photographic evidence that PK took care of the situatation, (thank you, Chemy!), and now, only a little while later at the GP Final, he splats on the quads! Obviously Elvis has been keeping an eye on him, as requested by PK after the Kennewick Incident. Tim was so tense from watching over his shoulder where ever he went that when the time came to jump, he panicked. ::sigh:: Oh what tangled webs we weave when we first start kissing Michelle ... !! Cool graphic Chemy. When I clicked the Add Reply button I caught 6.0 in mid-jump :-) I now have the same power the TV cameramen have. (I'll try not to let it go to my head). I will work on my Stojko School of Romance Hits Lyon story and hopefully post it tomorrow. I have to go back to the teaching grind after a month off. My husband took me to this store where you can have the bear that you pick out stuffed, fluffed, and dressed. Mine has a red sweater with hearts, a cute hat, angel wings, and ice skates. The skates are so cute. Guess I'll have to call it Lyra. **************** a teaser: Tim walked out of the airport gate and almost bumped into a man standing with his arms crossed over his chest. He quickly looked up to apologize. "I'm sorry sir, I didn't...Oh, Elvis. What are you doing here?" "Just thought you might need an escort to the hotel," he answered sternly. "Besides, we need to talk young man." "Wait a minute, what did I do wrong? I kissed her just like you said." "I didn't tell you to enjoy it that much now did I? And what do you think you were looking at when she sat down?" Tim's face reddened as Elvis grabbed his arm and practically pulled him down the hallway. He sensed that this was going to be a long weekend. He had no idea...

Slightly off topic, but I noticed that there were commercials for the NHL all star game during the GPF. Is PK going to be in it? Not really a hockey fan, but if he is in it I might watch part of it.

Today, January 17, 2000, is an exact year from the day PK and MK met at the Mighty Ducks Fan Fair. Hopefully we'll start hearing some (real) stuff soon. <font face=wingdings color=blue size=4>J</font> Great graphic Chemy! Marcella, can't wait for the full story.

voting box Yingshan. Unfortunately they take only one vote per email/persona. I could have made up a few or used my other resident personalities, but I wanted to be good. BTW, Teemu Selanne is also in the All-Stars for the Worlds team. Eilaram, the All-Star game was what got me into Hockey. No fights, all fun. But once you're into the game, you begin to crave a fight or two. Funny thing is, the All Star game I saw, PK wasn't in it. Having a team to root for is what got me hooked on it...well having PK on the team helped of-course. Chemy, NICE graphics. Can you do one of MK kissing PK animated, hehehehe, just kidding. BTW, where were you and your eraser when the Anu-like Danielle Rabbe was interviewing PK with her wide-eyed come hither stare. Marcella, LOL, I too like the fact that Elvis is working for both sides. Makes for an exciting story. Can't wait for the rest. <font face=westminster color=3366ff size=5>Happy 1st Anniversary BFFF (Jan 17, 2000)</font> Here's to hoping we aren't the reasons for the Ducks losing record so far, heehee.

A few random moments observed at last weekend's GP final: **************** Tim stepped off the hotel elevator on his way to evening practice and almost collided once again with the Director of the Stojko School of Romance. "Not again! Are you following me or have we just developed some kind of psychic bond?" "I'm just checking to make sure everything is under control. Mr. Stojko is nothing if not thorough and dependable. After all, my reputation is riding on this one." "This what?" "Nevermind. Let's go or we'll be late for practice." **************** #9 checked the hallway carefully before stepping from the stairwell. He checked the small scrap of paper in his hand and knocked on the hotel door. The fearless King of Romance Advisors quickly opened the door and pulled him inside. "Did you use the back stairwell like I instructed?" "Yes I did, Elvis. Now will you explain what the James Bond routine is all about?" "Its all about the elements of timing and surprise. Don't you know anything about roman...OOMPH. Boy you two have more in common than even I thought," Elvis remarked as he rubbed his sore shin. "Knock it off and give me your report already. Have you taken care of the little problem that I mentioned?" "Consider it done," Elvis remarked as he tried not to smile. He knew the trouble he and his shins and his wallet would be in if either #9 or 6.0 found out that he was playing both sides of the fence and for quite a tidy profit too. "Here is the number of her dressing room and a map of the ice arena. Now don't let her see you!" "How am I supposed to do that, invisible ink?" Elvis just smirked and pushed him out the door. "Amateurs," he thought to himself. **************** #9 peeked carefully around the corner and saw the figure he was looking for peacefully curled up on the floor with a pillow and blanket. He gingerly approached her and laid the rose and card on her pillow then he softly tiptoed away. Frank Carroll turned the corner just in time to see his retreating form disappear out the door. Apparently he and Michelle's parents were no longer alone in their caretaker duties when Michelle was far from home. On the contrary, quite a few people seemed interested in her well-being these days. His bemused expression then faded to one of wistfulness as he glanced down at the sleeping figure and the rose that lay beside her cheek. There seemed to be very little left of the little girl he had first coached. **************** Michelle rolled over and felt something brush her cheek. She sleepily brushed it away and sat up. Then she noticed that it was a beautiful long-stemmed blue rose attached to a white envelope. She hastily glanced around but only saw her own reflection in the mirror at the end of the hall. She opened the envelope and read the card inside. Dear Michelle: Remember that no matter what happens tonight I am right behind you. Love, Paul ****************8-) Tim stepped out of his dressing room and prepared to say a few words of good luck to Michelle before he headed to the warmup room before the final competition. "Going somewhere?" "Where did you come from," he practically shouted in an exasperated voice. "I believe we haven't finished with the where are you going part yet." Tim stepped back into his dressing room, leaned against the door frame, and sighed. **************** Michelle was sitting in the Kiss and Cry at the end of the competition when she felt someone reach over and kiss her on the cheek. She whipped around to angrily confront Mr. Goebel and Mr. Stojko but instead came face to face with #9. She gasped in surprise. "What are you doing here. Oh! The cameras are still rolling" she whispered hastily. "I don't care." He smiled at her. "I want the whole world to know that I love Michelle Kwan and that I am the only person allowed to kiss her on television." He held up a cardboard sign that read "I love Michelle Kwan and I don't care who knows it" as several reporters and cameramen headed his way. **************** Elvis walked down the hall patting himself on the back for a job well done when he heard his newest match talking through an open door and realized that they were comparing notes. Elvis was afraid...Elvis was very afraid....

Have no idea what post # 67 is 'cause every time I try to access it from work, my whole computer freezes. Haven't tried from home yet. Anywho, just want to mourn the loss of Jim Mackenzie (Dennis Leary's twin) from the Mighty Ducks. He was put on waivers. Sigh, if the Ducks were playing good, everybody would still be intact.

Just got home and was itchin' badly to find out what post #67 was 'cause I had a feeling it was the promised continuation of Elvis's school of romance. What a read, I was LOL at Elvis' antics and the ending was hilarious. I like ther rose part and gosh, I wish it happened like that...MK would have probably had a bigger smile on her face than Irina, methinks. However, from the results we saw, it looked like MK was missing somebody mighty fierce instead. (Did you see the short clip they had on her shopping, she looked like she wished somebody special was with her.) Also, just to let you know, the BFFF is widescreen again. I think you have to cut your ***'s short 'cause I have to scroll (left to right) to see the whole post.

Ducks won last night 3-1 against Dallas. PK carried the team with two goals, one of which was a spectacular one. Paul Kariya, with a bloody nose (no worries, not broken) raced down center ice next to Dallas Star's Brett Hull. He dove for the puck and shot it into the empty net. It was awesome, I downloaded the video from the Mighty Duck's sight. They played with "passion" according to the articles I've read. Sheesh, why don't they televise those games on ESPN. Too bad no MK sighting, she would have beat up the guy who caused PK's injury, hehehe.

I would try editing the ****'s but the darn EZBoard will never let me log on when I am at home. It will let me log on but not when I am actually in the forum so if I log on and then find the forum I am logged off and it won't let me log on from the forum so I can't even edit :-( Of course, I am sure that I have done something to displease the EZBoard gods. Maybe they are Goebel fans?

Hey: I was flipping by the spanish-language channel Univision when I saw a commercial for a program called Super Sabado Sensacional and they were showing a circus on ice and I actually saw (I am not making this up!)a real cow on ice skates being pulled across the ice!!! I could only wonder how you managed to do that Chemy? You're good! I must admit to some disappointment, however, when I also noticed that they had a chicken on ice skates too and the chicken was better than I am :-p

Welcome Skatefan007 & eilaram to BFFF world. That was nothing, Marcella LOL (re real cow-on-skates). Too bad my ducks-on-skates didn't pan out. BTW, nowhere in my GPF tape showed the duo doin' the romantic thang. Did ABC chack it? 'cause all I saw was Di cky's checklist Auggggghhhh! I hate ABC!! (Great job again Marcella).

Chemy, this will make a cute banner. I have another idea, how about side by side Mk/Pk pics from as far back as you can find. I remember there was a pic of Mk just a toddler wearing a red jumper, and Pk 6 y/o or so also wearing a red outfit, BTW the same red color. There was the side by side Chinese/ Japnese names, etc. I think a serial side by side pics like that will really look cute.

It was Michelle wearing the red jumper and white shirt and PK wearing a red and white shirt and pink pants. I'm glad to see that the Sucks, uh, Ducks are coming out of their slump a little bit. Heard PK laid down the law with them. Since their is a new rule that you can't post any pictures without the owner's permission unless it is on your own server, I won't be able to post the official PK banner on the next BFFF chapter. UNLESS... I cropped the original MD pic down (don't worry, all of PK is still there), but it's a bitmap and I don't have anything to convert it to jpeg. So if someone could help me ahemchemyperhapsahem by letting me send the file and converting it and then sending it back? Don't worry, I can upload it on my own server. Pretty please with a cherry on top? *bat eyes* MIA message: Yo Kooky, where are you? Heard it was your birthday yesterday so happy late birthday!
