Is Brian Boitano, by any chance, single? Because I think Brian is really cute, Michelle and Brian would look good together but I guess he is a little too old for her. Anywayz, how old is he???

I believe he's 32, but he's gay, so I don't think it'd work :-)))))))!

No, he's never stated his sexuality either way. Why should he have to? People have no idea.

Brian just turned 36. You should get your facts straight, Sharon, before you start saying things like that.

Well, I apologize if I offended anyone, but I thought it was known. I'm not gay, but I have friends who are and they thought he was also. What difference does it make? I wasn't putting him down! I like him! So you can take my comment as MY OPINION!

I'm not offended. You didn't state it as your opinion. You represented it as fact. You said "I believe he's 32, but he's gay, so I don't think it'd work". Not quite a statement of opinion, now is it?

Not offended? Could have fooled me. I know what I posted. My last post was a CORRECTION so that everyone who reads it would now take it as MY OPINION! I apologized, so let it rest.

I'm not offended - I could care less who is having sex with who - and there's nothing to let rest. I'm just not sure why you stated it in the first place. I'm sure your friends are just assuming, as is everyone else.

I'm chiming in on this a couple of months late, but this is the first time that I have visited this section of the site. It would be easy for someone to assume that Brian is gay, because one never hears about girlfriends (at least I haven't and it's a matter of keen interest for me ;), he lives in San Francisco, has friends and professional world connections in the theatrical world, loves to cook (among other interests that American society considers of an effeminate nature), and has skated in some sort of AIDs support event (but so did known straight skaters). However, he has spoken out on the issue of homosexuality in skating to dispel the media myth that most male skaters are gay and said that to his knowledge the percentage of gay male skaters is tiny. I believe I remember reading other statements he has made to the effect that he tried to distance himself from glitzy costumes during his amateur career, rather than be labeled gay, so I take him at his word that he is not. In any case, even if one believed him to be gay, it is no one's business to air those aspects of his private life that he does not volunteer, because they have nothing to do with his skating.

I hope he's not, because he is so gorgeous!!
I hope he finds a beautiful woman and marries her. Or he could always marry me... <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)">

Okay I am jumping in this a little late also. I do believe before the 88' Olympic's Brian was dating another female skater. I can't remember her name though. Also after the 88' Olympic's I believe he dated Katarina Witt. I remember seeing them and they were holding hands and hugging one another. That was a while back, but I don't believe he is gay. Brian Orser is and he has admitted it but I don't believe Brian B is..... I alway's thought Brian B was cute!

I did not mean to start something with my reply that obviously upsets people. It was totally innocent, I swear! The sexual orientation of Brian is none of our business, nor does it matter to me, nor should matter it to anyone else. I should have phrased it as my opinion and should also have made it clear that being gay doesn't make you more or less in my eyes, just different, and thank God for differences. As someone pointed out, unless they personally tell you themselves, then what <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> you<!--EZCODE BOLD END--> say is your <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> opinion<!--EZCODE BOLD END--><!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> I humbly, deeply apologize for offending anyone.<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
