Hey guys, thanks!!! I've been taking some time off the ice and the skating message boards so I'm sorry I didn't notice this thread sooner.

The requirements for the test are axel, lutz, two other single jumps, a split, stag, falling leaf or half loop, and a jump combo with two singles; three spins, one of which has to be a combo with change of foot and change of position (camel, sit, back sit); and straight or circular footwork.

I'd tried to take the test in February in time for the AN entry deadline, but bombed out big time. This time I was determined to skate well, actually look up and enjoy myself. That morning, however, I went to another rink to warm up and managed to let myself fall into an abyss of a toepick hole going into a camel spin and hit my head. My coach was there, and he is not the type of person you ever want to know you are hurt, so I tried to act as if it was nothing. When he left I ran for the ice and some Tylenol. Then, I got to the rink where the test was and found out they were running an hour late. Great. By the time I got on the ice they were running an hour and a half late and I was exhausted from sitting there stressing myself out and wondering if I should even be skating. I fell on the Axel in the program (it was a little too ambitious) and on the first try at a reskate. Hello? I landed two Axels at AN. But I landed the second attempt and passed. Phew.
