falling leaf and Russian split jumps

I heard somewhere that a falling leaf jump is more difficult than an old-fashion Russian split jump. Could anyone tell me the differences between them? I heard the one Michelle is doing regularly on her program is a falling leaf. So what does a Russian split jump look like? Thanks.
