Here's a true and funny skating story that happened to me. Just thought I'd share it with you:
I am 26 years old and am taking group skating lessons(as you may know from reading an earlier post). Everyone else in my class is about six or seven years old--mostly girls, but there are also two little boys.
After our lesson the other day, I was walking over to the lockers. One of the little boys came over to me and asked if I wanted to play air hockey with him. I politely declined, saying that I needed to head home.
He promptly replied, "That's okay. But maybe we could go out on a date sometime." <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> Now, he is only seven years old or so--and I am nearly 20 years old than he is. Practically old enough to be his mother! (Okay, that would be a very young mother, but nonetheless...)
I stood there with my jaw hanging open, as he got distracted and went on with his life. Ha-ha!
Okay, so I admit that I may look young, but really, did this kid just think that I am just very tall for my age or something?!?
