On switching coaches...

I have a coach who is really nice, but for some reason she makes me feel bad... I'm probably not going to change, since she's a good coach, actually, but after i thought about it, now I'm just curious if any of you have ever done that, and what you would say to them! It seems like a very difficult situation.

I've had to switch coaches in the past, but not under the same circumstances as you describe. My coach was moving to Europe for a skating tour, so I had to find a new coach. I'm not really sure what advice to offer you, but I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide to do.

haha thanks :) i'm not really going to switch, but i wonder what its like for skaters who have to do that. speaking of coaches, apparently richard callaghan walked by me today and i missed him!!! aargh!
