Michelle skated great, Arakawa is one of my favs, Michelle beat Sasha in the long even though both bailed on their last triple, Michelle got the last 6.0 of Worlds (alot of them), Michelle only lost silver by default (she should have been at least 2nd in the short). Now Michelle knows that she's still in the running and she knows what she needs to do.

I am just as happy. Michelle with the last 6.0, how fitting. She definitely will come out of this stronger and more motivated than ever. She is such a fierce fighter and I am proud of her!

Add the fact that Michelle received a standing ovation and most likely made a whole lot of fans on that side of the pond.

She skated two clean programs- she kept fighting. So no matter what she'll always be #1 in my books!

I'm happy too...come to think of it, coming in third here might fire her up like it did in 2003...now she knows she needs to compete more, work on the 3/3's and push her tech. in order to compete...her artistry is still the best in the world --- as proven by her LP marks --- so she can really attack next year, take some risks and be ready for 2006 Olympics!

I was so worried last nite that she wouldnt make it into the top 3. But it sounds like she did an amazing job. So I couldnt be any prouder of our girl...I'm sure this will fire her up for next season. YOU GO GIRL!!!!

Me, too. I was so upset about the results I saw yesterday that I wasn't even going to pay attention to the remainder of the competition. But, being such a fan, I couldn't resist. After watching the results trickle in all morning, I found myself so happy and excited for her. How amazing must she have been in that final group to have gotten so many 6.0s from the judges, when so many others had great performances? And for her to get a medal after all of the other difficulties, I just think that's fantastic. I found myself hoping to muster just a fraction of her fighting spirit in my everyday life. She is such an inspiration to me. Congratulations!!

I dont' think that I've ever been happy about a competition where Michelle didn't get gold. But she didn't lose, she won in every way.
Yaaaaayyy Michelle
in the words of a famous rap song
"she shook them haters off"
