Hi everyone, my name is victor i am 15 years old i have been skating since march 2001 when i was 13.
i train about 2 hours every day (even sudays) . i am 1.80m tall and i weigth from 75 to 77 kg.
i am semi-coachless but still i can do all of my singles perfectly. (except the axel).
anyway about 3 weeks ago i started to work seriously on my double jumps and i have landed all the doubles at least once. my most consitent jumps are the double lutz and double loop and also i have landed them in combination ( 2lutz/2loop).
i just want to know if my progress has been very quick or very slow and also any tip that any of you could give me?
altough i am very consistent i have never competed in any competition , but i dont like competition maybe later heheh
well ˇˇˇThanks everyoneˇˇˇ

your progress sounds fast to me, but progress is an individual thing. only tip i would have is even if you aren't competiting get a program and learn it to practice. it's good for stamina and doing jumps in a program is much much different than in isolation so it would be very good for your consistency.

less than 2 years and already doing doubles?
that is absolutely great, you must be working very hard
icesk8er´s idea is a very good one.
try to make a program and see how you do it.
then try to get into a competition you sure will do great.

Your progress is very well! I've been skating for 10 years and I'm still on my doubles. :p (I stop skating for about 3 years in-between, but still I'm very impressed and envious of your progress) You should really compete to help improve your skating and test your nerves. :)

Thanks alot icesk8er 29, marcelo777 and nessie2002 for the advice about the program and the competitions.
right now i am chosing the music ,,,i hope to have it ready by wednesday.
i am very happy today because i did not missed one double lutz (its becomig my favorite jump) and also today i landed the 2toe/2toe combination but only one time, still i am very happy with my progress.
i hope any of you could give advice on the 2flip aghh its very weak for me and also the axel that is a little bit more consistent.
anyway thanks alot :)
