Bronze isn't so bad considering what a tough Worlds' it's been for her. It also proves that Sasha still can't topple her in the long - Michelle placed higher than Sasha in the freeskate. And sasha didn't skate clean - again.:angel :angel
This is great for Michelle - she will really work her tail off now. The judges didn't keep her off the podium, they were willing to reward her, and the message is that the "old lady" still has what it takes. Next year I'll bet she takes qualifying VERY seriously, and will be a veritable demon on the ice!:angel :D :eek :) :) :lol
I was expecting to see Sasha as champion - I have to say I felt a real thrill of satisfaction when I saw Shizuka's name! I don't think I could have taken Sasha's crowing or Dick and Peggy's - or the U.S. media for that matter!
:rollin :FL :lol
Michelle is still the Jewel In The Crown!
