Michelle never ceases to amaze me. Just when you think her winning is a given, life or the skate gods throws her (us) a curve ball.
Each and every time she manages to overcome obstacles, disappointments, judging scandals, and even weird protesters with her head held high and a smile on her face.
I remember the old Michelle who would cry when she didn't perform well. Lately her tears have been tears of joy.
For me, I would be miserable if Michelle didn't win a competition. Now I just thank God for each continued opportunity to see Michelle skate, wheter perfectly or flawed.
Her dedication to a sport that hasn't always been kind to her is amazing.
Long live the Kween!
