Why penalize Michelle when other skate too long?

I read, not sure where (I've read SO many articles on-line in the past three days), that many other skaters have skated past their allowed time of 2:40 and they've never been penalized in the past.

I'm just wondering, why now, of all times, to penalize someone...Michelle. Why her? Why now? It doesn't make sense...everyone should be penalized. Sarah won Olympic Gold with cheated jumps yet the judges crucified her the next year for her cheated jumps. Not right, not fair.

I think it's "behind the scenes deal making" that they penalized Michelle. It's truly shameful and it's making me hate the sport I so love.

I know Michelle will bounce back, but if I were her, I would be wondering why people are turning on her. It HAS to bother her. Hopefully, Raphael will do something or lodge a complaint as to why Michelle was penalized and the others weren't for their cheated jumps and flutzes.

i think in order for that to work, you'd have to have tapes and review them, and present hardcore evidence. but yeah i agree, that was such bull****.
