hi guys, i'm looking for a comprehensive/detailed intruction book or video to compliment my group lessons. i just don't remember everything my instructor tells me ( like move my should this way or lean on this side etc.)
and suggestions?

There are books and the Gustave Lussi videos which are HIGHLY recommended figure skating instruction tapes. They are a little pricey: $50 for each tape. But consider it the cost of a private lesson and it won't seem like such a splurge.
Also, I would suggest taking notes in your group class. That way you can review your notes while you are practicing. I keep a tiny reporters notebook and a pen at the boards so that when my teacher says something poignant i can skip over and jot it down. After the class, I make more detailed notes and include ice tracings and anything that will help me remember.
For instance, I was suddenly falling on my salchow after landing dozens of them. I went to my notes and #6 under SALCHOW there was a note that said

there was a note that said "Pull arms in." I discovered my arms were flailing therefore i was overrotating the jump and ending up as the human zamboni.
