Since I live 45 minutes away from a rink, we usually only get in on Saturdays. Since I'm not playing basketball, we'll be trying to get in 1 or 2 more days a week, but weather can get unpredictable here, so we have to play it by ear.
Anyways, there's a competition coming up in Febuary. I am trying to convince my mom to let me learn a new routine for it. I know that I could do it, but my mom says there's no way I could have a perfected routine by then. I skate FS 3 level right now, so my program's only a minute and a half.
Any advice on how to show my mom I could do it? One of the reason's she's doubting me is b/c I really screwed around and wasn't prepared for last July's competition. I've tried telling her I've learned from that (I got 3rd out of 3), but she still won't listen.
