I really do hope she competes in some Grand Prix events next season. It could help her.:LB

I think she has to compete in the GP to be taken seriously and not regarded as a "rich American skater who is in it for her ego." We know she's in it for love of the sport, but a lot of Europeans aren't willing to give Americans any credit whatsoever. She needs to skate outside of the US, too, IMHO. Now she's got bronze, the European skating world probably think she's suitably humbled and no longer a threat. What a mistake! She's a bigger threat than ever now.

Michelle definitely needs to do the Grand Prix this year as it is the last full season before an olympic season (if she plans on going to Turino in 06). I think she should compete against Cohen as many times as possible between now and Turino. This will put the real pressure on Cohen and it may keep Cohen from racking up so many victories before international Judges.
Michelle needs to go balls out and attack at least one 3/3 in every competition from now until Turino. For psychological reasons alone she MUST do this. You can tell that even if she falls on a 3/3 attempt with a clean program she can still win. I believe the Judges want to see her try this and may reward her for at least trying even if its cheated or under-roatated as with the Japanese ladies at worlds.

I think it will be good for Michelle to get some experience with COP before the Olympic season, plus I want to go to Skate America so I'd love to see her there!;)

In articles this season, Michelle said that she was told she needed to commit to the GP in May (for this past season).
