She had so much movement in her SP, she was actually deducted for it!!:lol Congrats to our bronze medalist, who came out looking golden once again! Only Michelle can overcome a bad QR, a "movement" penalty, and a streaker! :rollin

Congrats also to Sasha! I loved he dress and she is 2nd in the world! GREAT job done by both ladies!!! WOO HOO!!!

Some idiot probably. Don't worry about it. If her Choreography is so lacking she wouldn't have received all those 6.0's

Ooooooh, noooooooo. Mr. Bill! You mentioned the words "Michelle's choreography" which usually winds up opening a complete can of worms! :lol

So I am going to agree with you and get out of this thread very quickly and not come back! :rollin

Have fun everybody! Byeeeeeeee!!!! :D

I don't think her choreography is lacking, she needs more details, different spin positions.. I dont think Nikolai Morozov has done a gret job with the choreography....The footwork is great, the best in the world but she needs more then that to win!!!! Look at Sasha two programs very detailed--next year Arakawa's programs will be the best Choreograph because TT !!!!---michelle needs Lori nichol or Leann miller!!!!:FL :TJL :SJ :SAL

Her choreography could do with more detail, but comparatively, it's very good. Her footwork in Tosca (straightline) could be more complex, but that's being nitpicky.

What IS lacking is her technicality, not the choreography.:TJL

You might want to reserve comments on Sasha's program. I heard her program is seriously watered down.

Michelle's SP was definitely beefed-up for the Worlds - including new spins and more footwork going into the 3flip. Under normal circumstances that would have been enough to put her in top 2 after SP.. but oh well.

i think whoever has helped mk between nats and worlds for the SP at least did a good job, and being that nikolai is her choreographer i'd presume thats who played a role in it. i thought this was teh BEST TFB to date, just maybe 2 seconds behind the music than we're used to. but the time deduction? well whatever :rolleyes . all i can say is that the spins were actually REEEEAALLy cool, ESP that last one, when she did it i was like WHERE DID THAT COME FROm?!!!! i wonder what dick button had to say about that since he reacted to sasha's scratch spin in swan lake in the beginning of the yr like it was incredible cuz she did that cool thing with her hands. but anyhow, that last spin in TFB was just awesome. if nikolai can work on beefing up programs like how TFB was at this worlds, then that would really put michelle REAALLY head and shoulders above everyone else. and all i can say is sasha's footwork was DEF. watered down. i haven't seen her swan lake at worlds yet, but i dl'd her malaguena online at its def. lost its tarasova touch...

Nicolai did an amazing job with the short program, but I think she needs a different choreographer than can give her an amazing long program.
