the arms were a bit weird, but other than that everything was perfect!! Even the ending...She was hardly over the music...the music just kind of dies down slowly, but it was hardly noticeable...I can't believe they made such a big fuss over that...I loved it! Better than last years Worlds...her jumps were great...she had more passion...the footwork section was awesome! And so was the very last spin!

LOL - Take off the rose-colored glasses...she finished well beyond the music...
And during her layback, she like came up a lil in the middle of it...it was kinda wierd...

I didn't time it, but Arakawa's arms flapped around quite a bit after her music ended.

doesn't matter about the music, it matters about how much time the person is moving on the ice

Twinner...it has to do with when your skates stop..not when your arms stop.

Actually there was a discussion last night about this and someone came up with some FSU article indicating that it is time when any part of the skaters body started moving up to when they stopped skating (the length of the music has nothing to do with it, apparently).
Now it's even more controversial because Shizuka did several arm movements after the 2:40 mark and so did Michelle. The only difference is that Michelle was penalized and Shizuka was not.
