View Full Version : Birth time for the olympic ladies to make prediction

June 27th, 2005, 09:36 AM
A friend of mine is an astrologer.
She is interested in studying the olympic ladies to make some predictions. She sees that Michelle MAY medal.
However, to be more accurate, the birth time of all the promising contenders are needed, the more accurate the better since some inaccuracy will throw off the prediction.
Would someone let us know if you have accurate information of the birth time of those ladies:
Sasha, Irina, Michelle, Fumie, Miki, Shizuka, Elena...?
Thanks.

Come on people, with the advancement of computer power, astrology is not a witch craft anymore.

She shared with me her research on the past 2 Olys with amazing results, and she got all the birth dates, years, locations down and she just needs one more piece: birth time to make it accurate. I am really impressed by the depth of her work that's why I came here to inquire the information for her (I thought people here are knowledgable and understanding). I am just shocked by the joking comments this post received, especially by some names I have been admiring for years.

Even though some comments are meant to be joking, but it is rude for something people spent lots of solid research hours on. Shall I give it up here?

Aww, I'm sorry. You have to admit, though, it's a very strange question! And I doubt you're going to be able to find out the times w/o going to the sources themselves.

I used to know people that can predict without the exact birth time. It is not an exact prediction, however, you can ask her, with the birth dates of all of the top skaters, who will have a good skate, who will reach success, etc,(you must ask for each of them, not as a general question). As I said, the result is not the same, but it may work.

Anahi:

Without birth time, she calculated 6 top contenders, she already told me MK may medal.
Since I want to learn more about the color of the medal, that's why she asked me for the birth time.

One other way is to do the rectification, but it is tremendous amount of works, and it still needs to be verified by the sources for some life time events.

It's probably going to be impossible to find out what time a skater was born. Maybe you can do it from a fan's perspective...see how your day or week will go during the Olympics. That's the only thing that I can think of.

It's going to be hard to get that information. I know that some people can do that kind of prediction without that information, as I said, I used to know people, but not anymore:( .
The birth time works, because you can know the influence that the planets have on you, also the position of the planets and the sun at the time of birth affect, the ascendant, sun, moon, and descendant affect a person's life and knowing that influence makes it easier for an astrologer to know what is going to happen with a person on a certain date and event, such as an olympic competition. Sorry, I'm not so good explaining this stuff, but it's kind of like this.

I was born at 6:01 a.m. on 12/08. At this stage of my life though I'd much rather win the lottery than get an Olympic medal!

There are a LOT of people in India who seriously believe in that stuff. My father-in-law who is extremely intelligent and worked as a scientist before he retired will defend all of that for hours. It amuses me. Many arranged marriages in India are performed only after making sure the horoscopes are compatible, something to do with how the stars are alligned, they always need the birth date and time when trying to finalize such a match.

You could probably order a birth certificate for those born in the US since that is public record. They are not free. I am not sure about those born in other countries.

You cant just get anyones birth certificate. If that was the case the terrorists and illegal aliens would have a field day.

Its still pretty easy, but you do have to have proof of ID.

I didn't mean to be rude. Please understand that astrology isn't mainstream, and so to most Americans, its just a form of fortune-telling, with questionable legitimacy. Cultural respect and sensitivity go both ways.

Actually, I was laughing at epoibim's response, not at you. It was just so quick and so funny. I didn't mean to insult you, and I know that there are many people who set stock in astrology. I do apologize.

MMG, I'm wondering, why this statement? Did Icare say something in her first post that came across as not showing cultural respect or not being sensitive?

missmarysgarden

It's sort of "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" kind of respect. The fact is, most western cultures do not put much stock in astrology. A significant number of people actually see it as a hoax. Some read the astrology column in the paper because they take it seriously; others just as a curiosity.

I think that the request for the birth time would have been more "gently" received if the poster had said something like "I have an interest in astrology, and a friend who does charts. She has recently done a chart for Michelle, and it appears that she is one of six with a chance to win in Torino. She said that if she had birth time, she could give a better prediction. I think it would be interesting to know, and fun."

I thought the message, as written, was like a magnet to draw skepticism. I don't think the poster should have been so surprised. As I said, serious belief in astrology is anything but mainstream in the USA.

I still think epoibim's post was extremely funny, and harmless.

I looked at your dates and times and here is what I came up with.

I have some Good News and some Bad News for you all.

Bad News: None of you will medal at the Olympics in Italy.

Good News: Somebody in here wins a Silver Medal at the Texas Chili Cookoff Contest. :lol

TwinnerA: The best you do in the Lottery is 4 correct numbers (sorry) :b

Disclaimer: The poster handlem9z can not be held liable for any wrong predictions because he isn't a qualified astologist.

Oh and the winner of the OGM when I flipped through my magazine was Eva Longoria :rollin

LOL @ Eva Longoria. That will be interesting. I wonder if the other women from Desperate Housewives will be jealous of her after she wins the gold.

MMG, Thanks for the clarification. It makes more sense now why you said that. Personally, I think it was somewhat of a naive question and there was no intended/purposeful cultural disrespect. Also, I try not to discredit anything so quickly; this is from personal experience of being proved wrong sometimes on things that I am 100% sure about. I admit though that it was pretty tempting in this case as evidenced by all the posters comments;) .
Now, I am done with this thread :)

Ok, Piper, Sun in Cancer, Moon in Scorpio: Your inner nature is more natural, sensitive, easy going than your personality can show.(can't tell the rest, it's a little out of topic, but nothing wrong)
Ascendant in Libra(nice)
Ok, let's leave that for a moment, time for a small forecast. Until July 15: Opportunities for achievment, At this time you will be able to strengthen many areas of your life so that they can withstand adversity later. But you have to take control of this moment. Nothing will be given to you without some effort on your part. You will have to exercise considerable care and responsibility and pay attention to what others require of you and the commitments you have made to them. This is not a "lucky" influence in the ordinary sense of the word, but it can be exceedingly fortunate for you, if you work hard to make it so. Recognition by others, particularly persons in authority over you, may come now. At this time you have more patience and perseverance than usual. You are able to work in a disciplined and careful manner and make your work enduring. This is an excellent time to tackle difficult and demanding projects. Even your health is better than usual, but that does not mean that you should abuse it. Instead, you should be building up your strength. In the not-too-distant future you will need your good health, so don't waste it now. This is a time of successful preparation for climaxes and periods of crisis to come. How well you are able to deal with the future depends largely upon what you do now.

I know this is a little confusing, by the way, if it's wrong don't blame me, I didn't do the reading, I just read hands:lol , anyway the person who did it is very reliable, anyway, I gotta go, I just saw lightning:eek , I better turn this off. Take Care,
