Michelle's training during the summer

Well now that two big questions have been kind of answered that is, we know that TT is choreographing probably her LP, and that she is probably skating to Rachmaninov, I keep wondering about her SP AND her summer training. Seems like the SP rumors have dried up. Maybe keeping Spartacus, maybe working with Morosov - have I missed any? But - the question I really keep wondering about is how her coaching situation is going to go this summer. Will she train without Raphael this summer? Will she go to Lake Arrowhead sometimes, and he come to MK's rink sometimes. Having her own rink certainly has its advantages, but I would think having Raphael not there is a big disadvantage. Anyone have any thoughts?

Rafael is coaching at East West now so no worries, Michelle will be training with Rafael. :)

Yes she's still training with Raphael. I have seen him on a few occasions coaching Michelle at East West.

Cool thanks for the heads up - I'm relieved now. I knew Raphael was listed as a coach at East-West, I just didn't know about this summer. I am so excited for this season to begin.

The staffing at East/West is excellent in diverse areas. And it sounds like it will be a good place for former athletes to devleop as coaches. I'm impressed. It looks like a lot of thought went into this.

Sorry but no beans or anything else here right now. LOL. I haven't had the opportunity to watch a full practice. Usually I'm working out in the gym upstairs. She has passed by me (actually jogged past me) a few times when I've been working out. She's always stretching or working out herself so I don't want to bother her. Besides, I'd feel a bit uncomfortable watching her practices and making the info public. When I do find some good info, I might consider telling Heather or Grace. That way they can decide whether or not it should be publiczed or not.

Corbon, I appreciate your respect for Michelle's privacy. I think approaching Heather for an opinion about any Michelle information would be the right thing to do.

Corbon: You are absolutely doing the right thing. Michelle should feel safe and as anonymous as possible in her training environment. It's time she needs for herself. It's the best gift you could ever give to her.
