Announcement is up on USFSA site for SA and Michelle is listed as competing. Don't know if she'll keep the invite but it's encouraging.

2005 Skate America, hosted locally by the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA), and the New Jersey Council of Figure Skating Clubs (NJCFSC), will receive two weekends of national coverage on ABC and ESPN. In addition, Atlantic City will be showcased worldwide, as past Skate America's have garnered live coverage in Canada and broadcasts in Japan, Russia, France, Italy and Germany.
Wow! Canada airs it live!

I just hope that this time, the USFSA got a commitment from Michelle before they use her in advertising.

I am hoping she will compete. I just don't want to get my hopes up.

It is broadcast live in America! Just not in the U.S.A. Canada is a part of North America after all.

I agree with you 100% attyfan. Last year, they had her listed as a participant, and then Michelle pulled out just before the competition. The USFSA shouldn't say that someone is going to participate just because they have been given that assignment. They have to accept the assignment first. :rolleyes
