MK, RA, and who else at K&C area at Olys??

Do you guys think Tatiana Tarasova will seat w/ MK and Raphael at K&C at Torino? If TT sat w/ Johnny at some of the Grand Prix competitions (i don't remember her sitting w/ Johnny and his main coach at 05 Worlds), and considering the fact TT is ONLY MK's choreographer, can TT still seat w/ the Kwan team? Of course, TT has Shizuka and other skaters [Johnny, etc.] to sit with, but doesn't Shizuka have full-time coach just as Johnny does that actually sits w/ them?

I don't know if the rules are different at Olys than at Worlds, but Rudy Galindo had his choreographer in the K & C at Worlds, as well as his coach/sister. What I would really like to see in the K & C with MK and RA (if she skated well), though, is Frank I think it would be great to publicly demonstrate how much of the skater she is today is due to his teaching. (That RA would get himself talked about as the "gracious Russian coach" as opposed to the Mishin/TT wars over Yagudin wouldn't do him any harm, either)

If Frank and RA were in the K&C together, THAT would be a front page picture in the sports section!! I predict it will be RA and Michelle for the SP; and TT/RA/and Michelle for the LP - unless of course she has a contract that states she only goes to the boards with her contracted students - which some coaches do have.

Assuming Shizuka makes the team I'm sure that TT will be busy with her, so I don't expect to see her in the K&C with Michelle.

Yeah, I'd have to say that it will just be RA and MK in the KC at the Olys.
I do agree though, that it would be a wonderful site to see MK, RA, and Frank all together. Frank might be busy with Jenny and/ or BeBe, though. :)

I don't believe I have ever seen a former coach sit in the K&C with the skater and their current coach. I doubt TT will sit in the K&C with Michelle and RA. She might if for some reason RA couldn't be there.

TT and Frank both have their own students to take care of while Michelle has RA.

If she was to have anyone else there for support, I would like to see it be Scot Williams. He seemed to have a very calming effect on her.

At MK's first Nats....in 93..you were there weren't you, Twinner?, didn't Evelyn Kramer sit with MK and Frank?

It's a lovely, sentimental thought to imagine Frank (and/or Scott) sitting with Michelle and Rafael in the K & C at kwanrino but I don't think it has a snowball's chance in heck of happening.

I wouldn't mind seeing a shot of Michelle and Frank hugging at some point if a cameraman were alert enough to catch it.

i dunno but somehow, having frank AND RA sit together... seeems.... i dunno awkward and inappropriate? sure frank has guided mk for yrs. but somehow i almost see that as a blow to arutunian. ok not THAT dramatic, but anyone know what i mean? i mean its arutunian that has been w/ her since 2003. and frank hasn't been in the K&C w/ mk since 2001, for obvious reasons... i dunno, i can maybe see frank briefly coming over to give his regards to mk, but not in a K&C cuz that would sorta be stealing some limelight, which is the last thing i think he would do. i'd say the chance of seeing TT is about 100x greater than FC. but then again she'll prolly be tending to SA. however, since mk's new LP is a TT creation, im sure TT will be keeping on eye on it ;) .

I can't imagine Frank will be in the KissCry or TT. I think it'll just be Michelle and Raphael. The moment is theirs to enjoy and celebrate.

kwanette, you're right, I was there at the 93 Nats. However, to be perfectly honest I can't recall any specifics as I wasn't paying that close of attention to who sat with Michelle in the K&C. The only skaters I even remember are Nancy, Lisa Irvin, Tonya K and MK! I attended the LP and exhibition but skipped the SP. Dopey me.

Yes, I may have been there in the beginning, but I only saw her occasionally until 1995 when her big transformation occurred. In fact, that year I don't recall seeing her at Skate America or Skate Canada at all but did see her at 1996 Nationals and was hooked for good!

I only saw the LP. They only showed the LP's for the Grand Prix series so I don't know if she sat with them during the SP.
