An article on Michelle Trachtenberg, but there is a good sized Michelle Kwan mention on the second page of the article as well as a past picture from a red carpet experience.

"Tale of Two Michelles" (http://www.filmstew.com/Content/Article.asp?Pg=1&ContentID=11942)

A snippet of it.

As a lifelong fan of Michelle Kwan, Trachtenberg found herself more tongue tied in the presence of the Olympic champion filmed than many of the Hollywood stars who preceded her in the actress’s life. “I was the biggest nerd,” Trachtenberg confesses. “I said, ‘You’re Michelle Kwan,’ like she didn’t know that she was Michelle Kwan, so I had to tell her.”

Cole, that was amazing. the Michelle tidbits were good too but i'm impressed w her work ethic. aside from the fact that she loves skating, i've been on that ice before when i didn't feel like it & it's hard work(at least she got paid for it though ;-).

although i'll be embarassed to rent this film, i will!~

I really liked that article.

As for renting it- my husband actually bought it for me. It's only 16.99 at target.

aaronts, you cracked me up. I, too, am vaguely embarrassed about renting this movie. I haven't seen it yet but I really, really want to see Michelle Kwan and I love to watch anything involving figure skating...even though I suspect this move will be pretty bad. :) It doesn't look like the type of movie I would usually see...but I will rent it and watch it and probably guiltily enjoy every single minute. :)

Miss Vegan, Trust me, the movie was great, you will not be disappointed :) I watched it in the theaters, thoroughly enjoyed it and I plan to rent it to watch again sometime. If I had watched this movie a few years ago when I knew nothing about skating, I would still have enjoyed it. Waiting to hear your review ;)
