A different gift idea

I know its too late to consider this for Jenny's current project, but maybe it could be done in the near future? This idea came to me as I was driving to work this morning. What if we were to design a banner (or just use the one on this page.....its perfect!) about MKF and have it transferred to a t-shirt. That way she would always have a reminder of us as well as something useful. What do you think?

I'm here! Sorry -- I meant to respond last time I was on the forum, but writing that post in the other thread took a lot longer than I had expected, so I ran out of time!

Anyway, I think this is a cool idea except I don't know.... do you really think Michelle would wear a t-shirt with her own picture on it? I know I would probably feel a bit uneasy wearing a shirt with my name & photo on it if I were Michelle. Maybe if it was a very small MKF logo on the front (you know how a lot of t-shirts just have a small logo on the front and the main design on the back) and then on the back could be a big list of all the usernames at MKF.... it would be like we were all giving her a big hug!

I thought of that too. Maybe if it was just a smaller picture it would not be too bad. Or a new design. But I just thought that something with US (MKF) on it would be meaningful for her. It would be great if we could all get our names on it, but is there enough room??? :)

Great idea, Jenny. It will be so COOL to put all the users name on the t shirt.
Actually even if the users name are not on the t shirt, I think it will be so cool
to send her a list of the users names.

Cute idea! I hope I can do something for Michlles b-day. Considering I can't donate money to you, and i'm broke anyway I guess i'll be using an old fashion Birthday card!!

I'm not sure if this idea has already been suggested here, but the Kwanites at my forum did something special about a year ago. They pooled some small donations into one large donation for a charity (I think it was Children's Hospital) in the name of Michelle Kwan. It's a win, win, win scenario. Michelle is rich enough to buy anything her heart desires and imagine 5000 fans each sending her a gift. The amount of gifts would become a burden on Michelle in the long run.

By donating to a charity in Michelle's name, the charity wins, you win and MK wins by feeling good and not having to find a place to put the gift.

It IS a good idea....in fact, someone already suggested that in a nother thread and we are looking into it. Think its a great wat to show how much we respect her!
