Hi Everybody,
How are you? I've been meaning to write for some time now. I wanted to wait to the end of the tour before writing. I was completely shocked to receive the medal and scrap book.(Did you all choose Atlanta for any particular reason or hinting about Nationals?) I have yet to decide what I'll be doing next season. I guess I will try and take a little break before making any decisions.
I just want to tell you how touched I was when I got the humongous check for $10,000 to Children's Miracle Network.
You guys are the best!!

Wow!! It's so exciting that you managed to post here again. hehe...don't know where you were when you posted, but it was around 11pm in LA. I'm still up supposedly studying for finals... By the way, I'm waiting to see you in UCLA one of these years. :p
I'm sure you already heard it, but I wish to say that the platinum medal signifies that in our hearts, you deserve more than a gold medal. The check shows our whole-hearted support for the charity you're committed to. I thought that the scrapbook was a big thing for all the MKFers who contributed to it. It was a chance for a lot of your fans who never got to meet you to show you our love, and also to show you a little bit of ourselves. Either to tell you how you affected our lives, to put a face to some of your fans, to show you a little of our personalities through that one piece of paper. I was truly grateful to be even slightly involved in this project.

I wasn't able to get backstage passes, so although happy after seeing the show, I was feeling rather forlorn as we could see the group with backstage passes getting the autographs and pictures. Thanks for the post and thanks for the great season. I have been a skating fan since 1960 but until this year I had never been to a competition. What a year for me to decide to attend Nationals and Worlds! I got to see your three wonderful performances at Nationals and four at Worlds, plus many unbelievable practices.

I also want to thank you for skating "Fields of Gold" at 2003 Worlds. I'm sorry I won't get to see "Fallin" since COI wasn't televised and didn't come to Texas this year, but I was so touched to see that last FOG performance, as I was there when you skated it the first time at the Tribute show, and several times in between. That program epitomizes the beauty of your skating and touches our hearts. There are many of us who can't watch it without tears in our eyes. Thank you for all you've given us.

I forgot to add in my letter that on March 27 we celebrated

I hope someday that Tarynn and I can meet you to personally
say "thank you".

Count me in as one who was thrilled at your reaction to the check and I am happy we managed to keep it and the medal a surprise. I was backstage at COI in Anaheim, but like imazdi, my sister and I were not with the big MKF group. We were wearing our blue MKF ribbons, but I don't know if you noticed. My sister said I was your #1 fan, but I think that would be your family. I am a *huge* fan though :D ! You may remember signing my cast (color is close to aranjuez blue :lol ). I always seem to get tongue tied when I am face to face with you :o . I wanted to say how much I loved your skating and that you lifted my spirits this year when I needed it most. You never cease to amaze me with how many times you have made me cry from one of your performances. I used to think that it would be hard to top the perfection of 1998 Nats, although several have been mighty close, but you did it again with your Fields of Golds at the Olympics and with The Feeling Begins and Aranjuez at Nats and Worlds. I truly believe that you are the finest skater I have ever or will ever see.

Last night I had the coolest dream, I had a dream that you, Sasha Cohen, and Sarah Hughes were at my favorite ice arena in Maine, and you three were skating there, and I came, and I skated for a while with you all, then I remembered that I was in an exhibition there (I was) and we had to wear these Gold sashes in the group routine, and you had your Fields Of GOld costume on, and I thought that you should have the sash for the Olympic Exhibition where you did your Fields Of Gold one, and you didn't want to take it from me because it had a lot of memories of the rink to it, But you borrowed it for that routine and then yuo signed it and gave it back to me!! that was my favorite dream I've ever had! I was trying to get Paul Wiley to contact you, but Mark Konopacke said that he was not with Disney anymore and was on a long vacation this summer. So I am trying this... I am co-chair of our local Families with Children from China (FCC) group's charity committee. We raise money for the children left behind in the orphanages in China. There are hundred's of thousands of these beautiful children that need help either with surgery, education or just basic needs such as food, medicine and nannies to love them. There are orphanages that house up to 150 infants sleeping two in a crib. There are so many that desparately need our help.
I was wondering if you could help us raise money by appearing in the Milwaukee area. Perhaps for an autograph/picture session or a short performance or even a skating clinic. There are so many Chinese-American girls here that look up to you and would love to meet you or see you perform. I know you are probably bombarded with requests such as this everyday and are short on time, but it would be so wonderful if you would consider helping us in some way.
