As I was browsing through the list of contributors, I saw someone actually made a WITHDRAWAL from the community chest. Hmm....I didn't know I can do that. :lol

Luckily we had enough in our community chest to pay for a year of gold community, so we don't have to worry about it for another year! Last time we renewed, we had to pay over $1000 for only 6 months, and this time, that's what it cost for a year. That's what happens when you renew in the offseason vs in March.

You can't technically withdraw money from a community chest. What you can do is ask ezboard to transfer your donation from one forum's community chest to another forum's community chest.

Yippee! However, even though we had enough for a year, this is a good reminder to help replenish the community chest so we don't have to scramble later on - so I just made a contribution. It's so easy for me to forget about it unless I have something like this to act as a reminder.

Maybe we should post a thread in the MKF chat section (where more people might see it) letting them know about the renewal, and maybe that would be a trigger for some other people too.
