Does anybody know how much stuff they throw at you if you sign up for that EZsupporter subscription time extension offer that has you viewing a sponsor's ads?

I don't know what the link is, and they seem to have changed the public profile page and it no longer has a link, but what ever information they gave you is probably accurate, at least it was for the promo for the whole board. If you don't have ezsupporter or you log out and go to Figure Skating Lovers (see my signature) you will see an example of a community that uses this promo offer. The ads are the size they said they would be and only on the pages with the messages that people post. They also, for the most part, apply to the topic being discussed, even when the topic is different from the board topic.

I'm not sure how it differs for an individual versus a community, but it's exactly how they said it would be for the community, so I assume it will be exactly what they say it will be for an individual.

I became an EZ supporter to relieve Heathers MKF site charges. I would not want to do the promo if it caused that support to go away.

It may be ok but I have trouble trusting anybody's pop ups.

I don't think that doing the promo takes away the benefits of being an ezsupporter. I believe that you get the same benefits, but your ezsupporter membership is extended one day for every day that you participate in the promo (a minimum of two weeks). This is just my assumption, but I'm guessing that Ezboard is getting some kind of benefit for helping out this other company test out their product (topic specific ads). In return for helping ezboard, those that participate will get whatever membership they have (board or individual) extended, while still getting the member benefits while prticipating.

The ads that are a part of this promo are not pop ups. They are 728x90 pixel, text only ads that are at the top of the pages with the post and reply buttons.

I personally have not chosen to use this promo to extend my ezsupporter benefits just because ezsupporter is only about $1 a month anyway, so it's not really worth it to me. Figure Skating Lovers has chosen to participate as a board because it is more beneficial to put off having to pay $30 when the board largely consists of younger people that are unable to contribute much, if any, money.
